Wondering this as well. Here in Ohio Dewine has been out in front of this but the number continues to increase. This could be because we are not currently locked down or maybe because we are testing more? Where I’m from surprisingly things don’t seem all that different. Lots of food off the shelves at the grocery store but my employer is still sending everyone to work and traffic on the highway seems the same.

there's a lag between taking steps to slow the spread and having that change slow the testing results because there is incubation period. Testing done today catches people who were infected last week.

Exactly. I referenced people who flew into S.F. for a business meeting from Chicago two weeks ago. They received their notification of the virus two days ago. I remember back at that time people all over the country were freaking out that one cruise ship docked outside of Oakland had 22 confirmed cases. Yo, airports were flying people around who were carriers way before that ship docked, they are just finding out about it now.

My company is offering 8 weeks 100% paid leave for people with underlying health conditions. They said diabetes + no spleen qualifies. Considering it.

If you get it from a grocer you should be OK waiting. But if you get it from a liquor store, I'd go tonight just in case they start shutting down non-essential businesses.
