I read that this morning, I agree with all of it, but wondering if this is a message to Sexton (as they prepare to offer an extension) that he is not the #1 guy in the organization.

I'll be very excited to see Garland become the star so many expect him to become. We know Sexton can score at an elite level, if we already have a legit star PG and a viable center we're closer to turning the corner than our record suggests. Make it happen Darius!

It is a nice piece about Darius though. Sometimes it feels like people are trying to put him & Collin against one another, but both are going to be solid NBA players.

Nah this is strong potential as a Klutch sports pushed article to garner interest in Garland ahead of the draft. Not surprising after what some within the organization probably feel will be the height of his trade stock. They are committed to Sexland for now, but Garland is probably not committed to it if these are in fact Klutch pushed.

I can't take Fedor's puff pieces seriously after the one he wrote about Love a couple of years ago. For example, he managed just one off to the side reference to Garland improving on the defensive end. Despite that being his biggest weakness.

I forgot Dakota Mathias played for the Cavs in summer league in 2018.
