Dude, he's not "just saying it isn't a big deal" because literally nobody said it was a big deal. He's not providing a counterpoint. He's simply quoting the tweet that said Garland was named to the select team and is either intentionally being an asshole, or is too stupid to understand that "Select" is part of the name--not a descriptor designed to convey quality.

Considering this is the same guy who told off the entire board and declared that there was no way Garland would ever play a game as a Cav--that he was drafted solely to be traded before the season ever began--I'm willing to bet on the "asshole" option but it's sure a toss-up between either option.
 
why would someone be put-off at all about Garland getting this call? It's great for him to run against some of the top players the league has. I can't wait for the highlights of Garland clowning these guys like some other PG did back in 2012:

 
Yeah, however you feel about any of these dudes the experience should be good for him.
 
Yeah I mean as a fan of Garland, being part of the Select Team really isn't some special honor or anything, but the experience will be great nonetheless.

Someone literally just posted the Tweet that Garland was selected to the team.

That's it. Nobody provided any more commentary. The only post in between that Tweet and your post was one person saying "Wish Sexton was there so we could see him dunk on Love's sorry ass during team practice."

You're fighting ghosts. You continue to make up shit that doesn't exist, like people getting giddy that Garland was selected to this team, and then attack them.

Your schtick is tired. Take a deep breath and try to contribute to the conversation. Maybe think if what you're about to furiously type out actually contributes to the conversation in any meaningful way before hitting that "Post Reply" button.

Or, to take a page out of the historic annals or RCF, "Lurk more. Post less."

Eh, so he isn't the scorer Kyrie is. Come back in 2 years once his body fills out and you get Kyle Lowry. Considering the top 3 players were gone when we drafted, it was a ok outcome unlike 2019 when there was a better option than Col"l"in.

can we differentiate individual posts by the same person? i mean, in that particular moment, ozone was right and was criticizing the notion on what the "select" team implies (which is not really a good selection), and it's not a diss on garland to be honest.

can we just chill? the "hate" goes both ways bruh.

Ozone wasn't right. In fact, he didn't even argue a point. All he did was make an attempt to disparage Garland as he always does.

I don't think anybody thinks being on the select team is a great honor, but it is a great opportunity for Garland to work out with some of the best players in the world. That's what I'm excited about.

I have no idea what you mean by "the hate goes both ways" either.
