I didn't watch last night. The boxscore doesn't look great, though. Anyone with insight on what happened?
we played pretty well considering who we were missing. Just shot poorly across the board. I thought we got pretty good shots from usually good shooters. In the make/miss world of the modern NBA, nights like this happen to every team. Too bad it was last night, when even a decent night shooting would have meant a win.

Not sure what’s it’s going to take to unlock this man Offensive game, ( love his defense) but yesterday performance 33 minutes 0 points on 2 shots attempts just confirms why his playing time is erratic, and his Atlanta performance wasn’t much better…..

I’m sure the coaches are working with him, but I would love for him to work on his pull up game, seems like when he’s is forced off the 3 point line he usually have a wide open 15 foot pull up jump shot or even a full drive to the hole , and both instances he usually is looking to pass the ball , which brings the shot clock down even more.

After the onslaught in Boston, Dean has played 63 minutes (and started) in 2 games, but has a total of 8 shots attempted and 9pts. Are we still blaming the coach, the GM, his teammates or playing time for his lack of offensive production?

He’s was only payed enough to play one good game.

Dodging them boards like….

While I appreciate him as a bench player, the "start over Mobley" crowd is laughable to me. I don't see any world where he is the close to the same level or impact. Even on fit, I think it was more of a fluke of schedule and other factors that sway those plus minus numbers.

I know you’re a Mobley guy with full of belief - but in a hypothetical world — why not just let Mobley come off the bench (agent/dad will have major issues with this due to contract but if that wasn’t in play) and space the floor with shooters around him ?

Cavs have a very unique luxury of really being able to play the same kinda style the entire game — if Garland & Mobley (with 3 shooters or 2 shooters and LeVert) while Mitchell & Allen was your A Dream with 3 shooters it would be an ideal situation…

48 minutes of hell

Dean doesn't shoot enough to keep teams honest. He's not a "shooter," he's a guy that can shoot.

I hadn’t thought about him being out for “paternity leave” but that makes sense. Dean is married and with George congratulating him and saying “family comes first”, that would put the pieces together. Can’t speak to the second question

That was my take on Georgeseseses post

Has anyone heard how long Dean will be out? He's gonna ruin his shor at rotation minutes if he waits til Evan comes back.

I want Okoro and Wade in quickly after 5min or less. Take Garland and Mobley out.

Watching the suns has me more convinced. Their bench is worse but they try to always have 2 of the 3 out there.
