Deshaun Watson: Third Highest Paid QB in the AFC North (OUT for 2023)

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I see a division title for us this year.

Well, it's at least worth speculating about now.

If 6 games holds (and I don't see a reason why it wouldn't) The Browns could easily go into their week 7 showdown with the Ravens at 3-3. While the schedule does get harder from there, I don't think it's unrealistic, with the talent on the team, that the Browns go 9-2 the rest of the way.

Watson can come back to the team in Week 4, providing 2 weeks of practice before his first game in week 7. Can obviously play all of preseason too.

I’ll sound like the wet blanket but stuff like that makes me regretful that way may never consistently see how elite Greedy can be. Cooper is a good receiver and Greedy made a close out look effortless there.

It can only get better from here!

Sounds like the same comment we made about Weeden and Manziel in their preseason debuts with us.

Just to clarify, the above sentence is tounge-in-cheek and not meant to be taken seriously. So no one get upset.

I'm not worried about Watson's play at all.
19 months since he actually played a game.
He overthrew the first pass: Nerves.
2nd play his center goes down, likely for the year.
Schwartz can't catch a cold.
Watson has looked crazy good in camp. Once he gets past all the bullshit he will be a top 5 QB in this league. Especially with the talent around him.(excluding Wide Receiver) Wide receiver will be taken care of next off season. Then we make our run at a ring.

I'd love to be wrong, but watson the football player just doesn't amaze me. I'm tired of acting like he does. Every time I bring it up, I'm called an idiot or this or that, but it's my opinion.

So he just like…. lucked into being one of the best QBs ever in college and having top 3 stats on a JV squad in Houston? All just… pure luck and he actually sucks?

It was an awful 3 series but really the only bad thing Watson did was have a poor first throw. Between Schwartz and DPJ, the receiver play couldn’t have been much worse.
