Your opinion is that someone who is widely regarded as one of the best quarterbacks in the league isn't good enough, and the basis for this opinion is "I watched some highlights."

If my basis for an opinion that went against the grain that much was simply some highlights, I'd shut the fuck up--because highlights aren't a strong enough basis to defend your argument from.

I don't think you're trolling. I don't think you're specifically being antagonistic in order to laugh at the reactions. I just think you're being incredibly stupid on this topic.

There are valid concerns. I think it's fair to question if a player who might close to three years between live NFL games might not regain his previous form. Even if he regains his previous form, I still don't think he's on-par with Josh Allen, Joe Burrow or Patrick Mahomes. However, these arguments aren't what you're bringing to the table.
 
That's fine, but I don't think this trade will work out. People are acting like he's top 5 and I think he's just outside the top 10 and that won't be good enough. I don't think our roster with him is super bowl caliber. That's all I'm saying.

Why do you think repeatedly saying this with absolutely no basis is even worthwhile?

If all you've seen of a player is highlights, you should probably go watch more of that player before feeling confident enough to repeatedly post your take on a message board.

For what it's worth, I have Watson behind these guys:
  • Rodgers
  • Brady
  • Mahomes
  • Josh Allen
  • Joe Burrow
And somewhere in a group of these guys:
  • Dak
  • Herbert
  • Stafford
  • Russ
  • Lamar Jackson

I could write out a long post about footwork, vision, accuracy, but i don't have the time. I've got the eye for talent. When I watch highlights if they're special they pop immediately. Watson didn't do that for me. I don't care what the stats or what anyone says to me. It's my gut feeling from watching football for twenty years and studying qbs. I knew weeden would suck, when everyone said he wouldn't, but I've been wrong. Thought manziel would succeed. This won't work. Now whether you want to blame stefanski or not, what you saw Friday is how this offense will look. Passing wise at least.

Ive got an eye for talent. Trust me. Ive been watching football on my fat ass shoveling pizza and beer in my face hole for decades and when I see it I know it. And i disagree with everything this guy above me just said.
 
Im confused on highlights show someone sucks? Arent they *high*lights?

Hell, Watson put the Texans up on the Chiefs by 21 points. Too bad the Texans defense imploded.

If you don't want to like the guy, by all means. To call him not talented is just...foolish.
