Deshaun Watson: Third Highest Paid QB in the AFC North (OUT for 2023)

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
San Francisco equivalent- Two story Victorian with plumbing issues and hobos living in tents in the front yard... and happy endings have been frowned upon since around 2008.

Watson paid his dues.

Time to cheer loudly and support him on the field.
I have no problem with those who are cheering loudly and supporting him.

Don't tell everyone else he's paid his dues. For many, that process starts with him admitting fault. He still hasn't done that.

Personally, I'll be rooting for the Browns to win, and by extension, rooting for him to do well... but it's going to feel like shit because of his behavior.

I don't think you're gonna get anything closer to an apology than this...

If I had to guess, in Watson's own mind, he's already apologized.

I agree, hence the feeling shitty part.

Here's what I said this summer, and I don't think my feelings have shifted much at all.

Moving forward, I would like to see him:
  1. Admit what he did
  2. Dedicate time and resources to the cause
  3. Speak out and try to help others not go down the same path he did
If he does those things, I think it will go a long way towards starting the healing process.

I would be very surprised if any of those things ever happened.

Right or wrong, it sure seems like Watson 100% feels like this whole thing is over and done with and we're back to football now.
