Deshaun Watson: Third Highest Paid QB in the AFC North (OUT for 2023)

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
@WellYouNeednt

You know what to do.

Been working the phones for the last hour — we have trade interest from the following fanbases:

NFL - Carolina Panthers
IHL (formerly) - Cleveland Lumberjacks
WNBA - Washington Mystics
MLB - Binghamton Rumble Ponies.

Not gonna lie, interest is VERY low, right now.

See what you can find out about the climate and things to do around Binghamton. If it’s miserable, we’ll go with them.

Otherwise, we’ll accept anything Washington is offering. Rooting for a WNBA team is asinine in itself, but dedicating even a moment to posting about one…

Jesus.

Claim the trade went through on the board but fax the the wrong paperwork just before the deadline. Guy needs a scare, not a death sentence.

Football thread.
Good call.

We'll see how it plays out, but it sure seems like Stefanski is ready to utilize designed QB runs a lot more than he ever has in the past.
I'm salivating at the thought of a defense already being stretched wide by three receivers in 11 personnel, and then having to deal with a Chubb/Watson RPO.

I'm also very, very excited for the thought of Chubb being spelled and Jerome Ford getting the same opportunity. Guy is one of the best backs in this past draft at breaking long runs.

All I can think about is this man's debut
For the first time in years Chubb won't be the focal point. That's exciting enough because he's just so goddamn talented.

I wanna see Watson hit everyone. I also want to see Hunt involved in the passing game more like he was in KC, the high powered offense opened levels for him there unlike here. Talent should now be maximized top to bottom. DPJ should now be untapped. Cooper/Njoku are threats. Now I'm just trying to filter out some unsung heroes. Can Watson unlock Schwartz? His problem is catching.

I expect Watson to be very good, but I don't expect him to be perfect. I will be surprised if he doesn't look rattled after his first hard hit from a defender. I'll be shocked if he doesn't miss a few passing windows. I'm expecting at least one interception.

All that said, I know Browns fans will be confident the franchise made the right move by the end of this season.

He only needs to be good enough to win 6 games. Texans to knock off the rust and win regardless, then all bets should be off on how good our offense should be.

Love to hear that upon returning to practice, he knew the playbook and all the terminology, has watched a ton of film, and practiced all the sets/concepts he saw from the games.

I know the whole "preparation" and "best sHaPe Of My LiFe" sort of thing is cliche, but with his talent level if he can hit the ground running, look out.
