Dilfer Wants Out

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
If your gonna bash Frye you may as well bash Crennell, and Savage. They're the ones who have faith in this guy, and they're the ones who didn't draft a QB this year. You would think if there was such a growing concern at QB that we would of traded up two spots with the Cardinals to grab Matt Leinhert.

Obviously Savage and Crennell are comfortable with Frye... therefore I am comfortable with Frye.

That wouldnt solve anything, Lienart has a weak arm too. The defense is so bad as well, that it is a much bigger need.

Obviously they dont have a lot of faith if they brought in Young for a workout in case he dropped and fielded calls for Harrington.

And you cant bash Crennell, he isnt the GM. He coaches what Phil gives him. Savage hasnt impressed me yet. When we start winning, maybe Ill give him some credit but that isnt happening any time soon.

You guys are full of it.

If Fryed puts the ball where its supposed Edwards doesnt catch the ball.

The pass to Edwards that was the slant, one freaking throw, he would not have thrown it if the guy didnt fall down. DUHHHHHH.

Thats like saying that joe blow ran across the street and didnt get hit by a car. Because no car was coming. Thing is if a car was coming Joe Blow would have stopped at the sidewalk.

What about the throw to Bryant against the Bengals on the first drive of the game.

You completely denie all of the other situations I bring up. But I have the blinders on. Right there says that its ok that other quaterbacks do it, but since its Frye he has a week arm.

Then this guy says that Kerry Collins is a good quaterback. Did you not see what he didnt do with Joey Porter and Randy Moss??? Give me a freaking break here.

Hes a rookie. Hes not that good now. And I bet you that if you took Charlie Frye and told him to throw the ball 65 yards he could, which is far enough.

Pip your not my best friend anymore. :nutkick:

If Frye puts the ball where it was supposed to be, it was a touchdown.....how stupid are you? Braylon had the guy toasted before he had to stop running and jump and there goes his season and possibily his career.

The slant, the ball was in the air before the guy fell down. wrong again.

I could go over and over how many passes Frye missed, what about the one to Heiden when he was streaking wide open on a post route and he throws the ball behind and low so bad that Heiden had to fall on his ass to catch it. Another blown TD.

Another pass in the Pittsburgh game, Bryant streaking the sidelines wide open, under thrown out of bounds. Possible TD, long play for sure.

The guy cant even throw a slant, he missed slants all year. Up, down, behind and in front. Id hate to go across the middle with this guy, he is going to leave you high and dry.

He can make things happen with his feet every now and then, but really....thats about all he has going for him.

Lets look at Collins numbers, 20 TDs to 12 INT, almost 4000 yards......what are you getting at? Nevermind that he played with a horrible coach that wouldnt get Randy Moss involved enough..He's also lead a team to the super bowl. Frye played in one winning season and never even goto a college bowl game and we are trying to discuss that Frye is supposed to be better? That's pathetic.

Frye might be a decent QB, but like I said we need a stud RB or teams will just stack the box and go for the head because they know he doesnt have the capability to beat them deep with his noodle arm.

You show your STUPIDITY, by your word choice, its called IGNORANCE, if anything. Come on bro, think a little. Lets see you pass the classes Im taking before you call me stupid.

I only remember the play in my head, and I remeber the guy falling down before the throw. He still caught the ball.

This guy in your mind is all or nothing. In order to give more I would have to re-watch some of the games.

I remember the play like it was yesterday..

Braylon had their corner I beleive it was Mathis? On the Jaguars beat on a midfield slant, had Charlie put the ball on his far right shoulder instead of his inside left he could have kept in stride caught it and had 6 points. Instead he had to completely stop running and it turned it into a jump ball where he out jumped Mathis and akwardly came down and his knee buckled and another promising rookie turns into a gimp.

A Mac, why are you even a Browns fan? If you don't think Savage has done a good job, then you are crazy. If you don't think Crennell has any input on the guys we get, then you are crazy. Is it a coincidence that many of the players we have signed in FA over the last two years are from New England? Former Crennell players.

It's fine that you don't think Frye is good, or has a strong arm... but he was a rookie last season and still needs time to develop.

I am very high of Frye, not only because he is a hometown boy, but because he has awesome intangibles about him that make him stand out. He has great pocket-awareness and does a good job scrambling. He's a smart and instinctive quarterback who knows how to read defenses.

You can blame Frye all you want for the Edwards injury... but it's football and sh*t happens.

Bottom line A Mac... all you do is complain, complain, complain. You complain about our running game (we have a 1,000 yard back), you complain about our draft (we didn't receive a grade lower than B), and you complain about our quarterbacks (give the rookie a break). When are you gonna find something to cheer about? Don't you have any hope or faith in the team? A real Browns fan finds ways to cheer on his team no matter what. It doesn't matter if we go 0-16, we still root for the team. We still have our players backs no matter what.

We have sucked for the last 10 years, except for one season. You cant be to optimistic.

There is no point in talking about what's good, what is the discussion there? I want to talk about what can be changed to make this team better.

If you wanna ride the Browns coattails and pretend everything is all good, go for it. Im a realist. I look at things without homer glasses on.

Frye is not a good QB, bottom line. He will never be anything more than average. His arm strength is piss poor and it wont be better than below average. He has small hands so his velocity isnt going to get better.

You have your opinion, I have mine. You like Charlie, that's fine with me. Im not going to sit here and question you being a fan if you want less for this team. That's fine, you dont want to get better...does that make you less than a fan than me? No. you just happen to accept being medicore, if that's you, that's you. But thats not me. Dont question me being a fan.

We have a thousand yard back...big deal. We had one of the worst rushing offenses in the league, your point is? 60 yards a game isnt the most diffucult thing in the world, that's all it takes to get 1000 yards. We have a power back with ok power and no break away speed. Rube is a good third down back..

There is a reason why this team has been in last place the last three years.

WE ARENT ANY GOOD!!!!!!!!!1 HELLLLLO WAKE UP.

Take the players off our roster..on defense, Baxter and Roye are the only starters for other teams. (minus the FA we got this year.) Andra could start for a handfull of teams. That's it. Bodden is getting good, he needs to be a full timer first though.

On offense, Rube may start for a handfull of teams, maybe..San Fran, Arizona (before Edge), Houston, and that's all I can think of right now..Heiden and Shea are solid TEs, I like them. I like Braylon, Northcutt is a very good special teamer. Tuck could start for any team at RT, Coleman and Druzzi are solid...

So out of our 24 starters (P and K included), we have five players that are all around good, about four solid players and one good kicker.

Hmm..

I guess it is wrong of me to want better for this team, you are right. Why am I fan? I should love this team and just let it develope and hope it gets better on its own. We dont need better players, we need to believe!!!!!!

BELIEVE GIZMAN THAT THIS TEAM CAN MAKE IT!!!!! YES, O YES IT CAN!!!

No, no it can't.

And Bernie Kosar was a average quaterback because he didnt have a great arm and he had no mobility.

Lets just hope Im right on this situation.
