Watch the tape. I saw him live. He wasn't trying all year. This matters32 8 and 8. Better winshares, BPM and VORP than Mitchell

Mitchell wouldn't make the playoffs with that roster either. Horrible roster construction by CubanElite numbers. What seed did this guy's team finish with?

Who's goal .. some players have exactly the gosl to score 30+ points.. it directly affects their market value..You can average 40 10 and 10, but if you team finished below 66% of teams in NBA, no way you can be 1st team all NBA. The goal of basketball is to win games and not score 30+ points.
It's a team game. Their record would have been worse if they had Mitchell over LukaYou can average 40 10 and 10, but if you team finished below 66% of teams in NBA, no way you can be 1st team all NBA. The goal of basketball is to win games and not score 30+ points.

It is way way worse than his Jazz teams. Bullock sucks. Dinwiddie is the only half way decent player they had. It's literally one of the worst teams in the league without LukaI would actually be fairly surprised if Mitchell / Dinwiddie / Bullock / DFS plus whoever at C didn’t at least make the play-in, probably in the 7 or 8 slot.
Obviously there’s no Gobert, but personnel-wise it’s not terribly different from the Jazz teams he played on. If Kidd ran the same offense he does with Luka (none) then who knows.

Most good teams have multiple all star level players, multiple players with good BPMs and VORPs. Mavs had nothing. Literally complete shit around Luka. In the running for worst team in the league without him. Probably 4-5 wins less if they had DM instead of Luka. Most teams suck if you take away their best player. Don't disagree with the first point but what is the point of this argument again? Most good teams have multiple all star level players, multiple players with good BPMs and VORPs. Mavs had nothing. People are trying to disqualify Luka from being all NBA 1st team because he had team had a bad record but that's a result of his supporting cast being extremely terrible. Hid numbers and metrics were a cut above Mitchell, Mitchell did not get snubbed.Don't disagree with the first point but what is the point of this argument again?
