What’s with the dismissive attitude? I can have my opinion, you can have yours. Doesn’t mean you have to be condescending
lol sorry. i didnt mean to be a dick. we are talking basketball. obviously its not personal dude. i dont even know what you look like. All good.

Ultimately what should've happened this year is making it a priority to run more through Mobley on nights when either Garland or Mitchell didn't play. Those were ultimately the chances to get more reps and see what happens. Instead, LeVert took over the duties for Mitchell/Garland and they generally maintained the same style of play.

It might not be an issue of Mitchell and Mobley not being on the same timeline, it might be the fact that we have at least two high-usage ball-dominant guards on the court at the same time means Mobley just doesn't have the opportunities needed to develop. I think that problem still exists even without the trade being made as Garland, LeVert, and Sexton probably present some of the same problems.

Mitchell and Garland being ball dominate and the team being so dependent on them for offense is the problem. If we had Lauri and Sexton, it would allow JBB to break up our top scorers because we would have an extra player that could create for themselves. I think that would create opportunities to give with Mobley minutes in a lineup with one ball dominate guard or just opportunities to get touches over our guards and Lauri. I think one hard thing with Mitchell being in his prime is that it's hard for JBB to take touches away from him to give them to Mobley to develop.

Being so top heavy, just means heavy minutes for our top 4, which just means they play a lot together. More depth means we would also be able to lower the minutes burden on everyone.

Nice try man. Lmfao. Thats a fucking highlight video dude. Its not mean to be an accurate way to assess a player. He had like..idk..3-4 30 point games in his career. Every player has these games. They are pros. Anyone remember when JR Bremer hit like 6 threes in lebrons debut? ( this is a test to see whos been watching a long). guess what. that mothafucka ceased to exist a year later. Ricky Davis, Lamond Murray, Sexton- average players who can give you 40-50. Mobley had 38. Vast majority of those buckets were right in the paint. He still sucks on offense. and you wont convice me otherwise.

I never said it’s an accurate way of assess a player. Plus I also have 2 years of games as data.

I don’t care how much he scored in that game. That was not my point. I don’t think he’s a good offensive player right now either. I used the highlight video to illustrate how smooth he actually looked in that game, how he was able to score (with space), and why he may not look like this all the time.

Mobley will be at his best when the coach and front office realise they can make him a hub like sabonis or draymond. Make him the hub and Allen and the wing screeners and you now have a spaced offense

I think it's different when a guy scores 30 points because he got really hot from 3 on a good night, and when a guy scores 30 points the way Mobley did. He showed a variety of different moves around the basket, and executed them smoothly as you pointed out. Also made a lot of other good decisions with the ball in his hand. For a big guy who is that young, and doesn't yet have a reliable outside shot, that's impressive.

100% agreed. Very different from say a Corey Brewer 50-point game highlight where he scores all of his points off of fastbreak
