I think the interesting thing to look out for is the plethora of great SS hitting the market in the next 2 offseasons.

Highlighted 6 of the Top 15 2019 SS sorted by WAR with min 300 PA. If we want to comb through it more, it's realistically 6 of the best 9 or so short stops in baseball. With the exception of Semien, who hits the market after the 2020 season, the highlighted players all hit free agency after the 2021 season. Villar is a free agent too, but I do not think he really belongs in the same discussion of these players for various reasons.
With the exception of Baez, who I expect to stay with the Cubs, I don't think it's unrealistic to think all of these players could leave their teams.
Semien having a similar 2020 season likely prices him out of Oakland.
Can the Rockies afford Story after their Arenado and Blackmon extensions? Unlikely imo
Can the Indians afford to keep Lindor? Again, unlikely imo
Can the Dodgers afford to or choose to keep Seager should they give Mookie his mega deal?
If the Astros extend Springer, will they be able to pay Correa too? Will Correa be more open to a team friendly deal with his injury issues?
What impact will other star, non-SS position players (Betts, Springer, Realmuto, Bryant) getting big contracts in 2021 and 2022 have on the above players?
