Hue was shocked and felt blindsided when he was fired as well.

Browns are no doubt really poorly run but it's baffling to me that these guys don't realize their head is laying in a guillotine

I was gonna say this. We don't know what goes on inside the building but it's hard for me to believe that these guys are truly that blindsided.

Maybe Haslam is the one firing guys without communicating with Dorsey?

If the team had made specific promises that would have been wrong, but if that was the case, we would have probably heard about the promises. When you are an employer, your employee is your employee until he's not. Seems a little two faced to offer support even when you have doubts, but publicly holding an ax over their neck sure won't help them dig themselves out of a hole they were in. My guess is that Hue said it out of spite and Freddie out if ignorance.

How can you be blindsided when you go 1-31 in your first two years? I knew Hue was pretty dumb, but that's just impressive.

The vote of confidence is the last thing any coach hears. Then they are done.

Feels like a huge burden has been lifted.

People celebrating have me laughing so hard. Does anybody really think we won't be back in this exact position in 12 months?
No. I don’t think we will be. With that said, I need to see who we hire first.

Sure, I want to believe that, but every year I buy into the coach and every year get burned.

In wait and see mode. It's been like 10 coaches so, I really have no reason to believe anything different is cumming.

It is obvious that the incompetence comes from the top if they can't even handle a termination correctly.

It never ceases to amaze me how incompetent and inept ostensibly successful people actually are.

Money glosses over all.
