i hate it when we go back to our 2004-2008 offense. there were no plays ran the final quarter. and they scored 22 points in 17 minutes. frustrating
 
We will most def drop out of the top 4.... maybe even the 5th. West wont be the same this year when he comes back. This sucks.

Missing 13 or so straight shots? Are you kidding me? He was taking a lot of bad shots too just trying to make up for it. Pass the ball when you can't hit! Not only that, but all those darn turnovers!!! This one is on LeBron.

Still, with Delonte, Ben, and Z out, it is tough.

I haven't agreed with that mentality for any other losses this year. But the fact that this was a winnable game and we're now staring a potential 5 game losing streak right in the face...

there's a couple things about tonight's game I'm not real happy about. And the refs aren't the worst of them.
 
for some reason i feel the cavs (mainly lebron) are gonna show up tomorrow..........gonna ride the home court mo and take the BIG win tomorrow night.....tomorrow night would be HUGE if we could win....absolutely huge
 
This is real simple:

Injuries are piling up

LeBron had an off game

Besides Mo, no one stepped up. No Z, no Delonte= -25 points a game. No Ben as well? No rebounding. Boobie forced to play defense.

In the end, this is one bad game. But the next week will result in quite a few more. I see no way to make up the points, rebounds and defense lost to Z and West.

Kiss the LA game bye bye, as well as Portland. Now we have to wait to get healthy.

I'm just as mad as everybody else with the way we played tonight. We can point fingers every which way (most of which are deserved), but it happened. This was a low point, and they'll come during the long season. Lakers lost to the Kings, and the Celtics lost to the Knicks and Bobcats. Tool up and prepare for New Orleans tomorrow.

I hope that was as bad we'll play all year; but just remember a loss like this can go either way in reviving a flagging team or put them on a losing streak. The Cavs and Lebron especially I'd put in the former category. Keep the faith.

Ferry didnt draft lebron #1........that other guy did
 
Does anyone know when Ben is coming back. Did they keep out so he didnt have to play a back to back and coming back tommarow....one can hope.

not at all lebron is clearly the guy. he had a good shot had Luol Deng on his heels im fine with the shot, just a bad shooting night

Stop being so pessimistic and be miserable like the rest of us :chuckles:
 
All these injuries is just making this year not even fun anymore. I am glad I cannot watch the game tommorow. We would have won with Delonte, he was playing so well. He and Mo were the only ones that showed up today.

Prepare for that for first home loss tommorow. Not to mention, we are going to get pounded by the Lakers. Wake me up when the playoffs roll around and we are healthy.

Damn straight.
 
In Lebron's defense people were passing him the ball and just watching like he was supposed to bail us out. Even Mo kept deferring passing him the ball.

Lebron played like ass, but he was put in bad situations alot of times. Mike Brown is supposed to dictate the offense - make him post up, make him catch it on the move, run double screens for Mo, etc. don't just let Lebron dribble 20 secs a possession.

But it was all Lebron, all the time once Delonte went down.
