Game 56 | Bobcats vs. Cavaliers | February 19, 2010 | 7:00 EST

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Why on god's earth is AP playing so much when Delonte is 10 times the better player?

Not to mention, playing Boobie so much when we needed size to match-up with their huge wings.

I still have plenty of faith in this team, but things could get ugly while MB adjusts to AJ and guys coming back from injury.

With the way we are playing, we are staring our first 3 game losing streak in the last 2 years right in the face.

Your signature picture says it all. I miss the Delonte - Mo backcourt. Mike Brown fucks around with AP and Boobie so much, and all these other wacky lineups that it makes me nuts!

And I know Jamison had a horrible night tonight, but does Mike Brown really need for someone to tell him it would be wise to have Shaq and Jamison out there together? Instead he uses AV/Jamison, or JJ/Jamison, WTF!!!!

And Parker on Jackson time and time again getting burned?!

I really wish our team had a better coach for when we face adversity.

I wonder if the reality of Z being gone has had any ill emotional effects on the team as a whole that has carried over to these last two games. I don't want to over dramatize it or anything but they are human..

I truly believe that this has had an effect on the team. I don't know if it's just me, but recently the Cavs hasn't been as silly/outgoing as they usually are. Then again, they should know that we are most likely getting Z back, so beats me.

Things that must be fixed going forward.

GET DELONTE IN THERE! We were successful on defense last year because he played. Now Mike Brown is fucking us over with Anthony Parker who just blows!

We have Jamison now. Doesn't that mean Shaq should be out there with him so defenses have to pick their poison?

PleaseMore Jamario Moon! Don't get why the man doesn't play, especially when we need a defensive spark. Mike Brown clearly has no clue how to use various talent on the bench.

Please Mo get healthy, quick!

I thought the same exact thing.. I dont think they saw the floor together.. Pretty sad when down the road they will be starting next to each other.

Mike Brown was terrible at the end of the 3rd.

You have to play LeBron the whole damn game, we were down 6 he puts this fucked up 2nd unit in with LeBron on the bench, ganme over

Tiger Woods is the robot of speech.

Mike Brown is the robot of coaching.

Yes, I'm sure that the loss of Z, who just happened to be on the team for our prior losses to the Nuggets and to the Bobcats, was the reason for the loss.

I don't remember losing by 20 to Charlotte?

The Nuggets just have our number, but you cannot deny that we needed a 3rd center against Denver. We REALLY needed it, especially with the foul trouble, no one was able to work up a groove...

Too much Brown bashing now apparently. Sooner or later his White Knights are going to slay all of you bashers. :chuckles:

5 things i think...

1) Delonte west should play more than AP and start
2)Mike Brown cannot leave lebron on the bench when we are down about to start the final stretch
3)Lebron needs to be consistent when we play the .500 teams and stop being lazy, jacking up 3's. Drive.
4)Our whole teams needs to put a lot more effort on the defensive end and we cannot be getting beat down the floor.
5)go to shaq as much as possible because he is a bright point and collapses the defense.

Just hearing LArry Brown talk makes me jealous.

He is not even our coach and he knows our team better than Mike Brown does. He can speak normally, and I'd love to see what he could do with the talent on our team.

Second game in a row I've seen a careless and lazy LeBron on offense and a disinterested LeBron on defense. I can take losing by getting out played, not just not giving enough effort. He needs to get his ass in gear. The All Star break is over.

Also, obviously this will change once we get into practice, but I do NOT want to see Jamison get transformed into a spot up shooter. We need to acclimate to him on offense, not the opposite. We have a PF who can create. Let him do that. Just saying that in general, not because of this loss. Obviously we need to practice to let him play his game in our offense.

I haven't read the rest of the thread, but I get the idea that people want more Delonte and less Boobie/Parker. I completely agree. Gibson had some good shots today, but his and AP's minutes have to go to Mo and Delonte.
Moon needs to get more than 17 minutes a game. I'd say he deserves about 25. Parker was useless against Jackson today, but Moon probably did a much better job (I don't have any stats or anything to prove this, but I know Parker did pretty badly). Take Gibson out of the rotation, cut down on Parker's minutes, and then that frees up time for Moon, Mo, and West.
JJ also needs to be taken out of the rotation. 10 minutes max until Powe comes back. In wins, I can look at JJ's athletic plays and think he's a good player. In losses, I see how he relies on LeBron for practically everything except free throws. The Cavs don't have the time to develop young talent in the last 25+ games. They need to distance themselves from the Lakers, and pray that the Bobcats end up with the 7th seed instead of the 8th.
I think Jamison needs to start. When Z began the season, he got in a huge slump, the worst of his career. The Cavs cannot let this happen to Jamison, especially when we have only two other reliable big men. But of course, this is the always-ignorant Mike Brown who's coaching, so don't expect anything to happen for a couple weeks.

I don't get how Parker continues to get a large portion of minutes of the guards. What did he do to garner so much reward?
