Game Thread 2019-20 Season Game #63 | Cleveland Cavaliers vs Denver Nuggets | March 7th, 2020

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Team deserves credit. Two of their best dribbles creators/shot makers are out tonight and they’re going against the third seed in Western Conference.

Team continues to play harder and better since JBB took over for JB

Has anyone else noticed that over the past ten games Love has stopped being cautious and is launching(and making) a lot more quick trigger threes? Not sure what changed but just a lot more catch and shoot/quick trigger threes from him, even with a defender nearby

Collin is about to play 41 minutes again, isn't he? That is yet another sign of his growth. He has always been extremely durable, but he is learning to pace himself so as not to shoot his entire wad too early.

Papa's proud.

Fun game. Delly had 13 assists? Wow. Several off lobs. He is really good pushing it.

They have 7 more assists than Denver. Nice

I keep telling myself it is bound to come back to the mean and he'll hit a few in a row. He has never been a good shooter but this is ridiculous.

Coming out of college, he was scouted as a shooting specialist point who couldn't defend... The problem this year specifically is that his Australian National Team coach wanted him to work with a shooting coach to speed up his release. Now it's fucked beyond belief.

The coaching change has undeniably coincided with a much more enjoyable style of basketball.

As a Beilein defender who never thought he was given a fair shake and may have been actively undermined by some of his assistants, it is hard to argue with the reality of what we're seeing.

This is a totally different team in play and spirit. I'm trying not to get too excited about recent developments, but had we been playing like this in October/November instead of February/March, we'd be talking about a potential playoff appearance right now.

Some guys just aren't cut out for this league. I still think he is a really good coach, just not in the NBA in 2020. I give him credit for recognizing it early-on and not desperately trying to cling to his job.

But yeah... it is becoming painfully obvious he was out of his depth.

Nance has been shit today

You can see the intrigue with Porter. Super-athletic, nice looking jumpshot, good floor game, has the tools to be a really impactful defender... but man, it always feels like it is just a matter of time with him. Something about the way he goes after rebounds it is easy to see how he is prone to leg injuries... lots of jumping sideways with no obvious clear landing spot.

Big 3 now wow

Can't wait to find out why Kevin Love sucks from Rich tomorrow.
