Game Thread 2019-20 Season Game #63 | Cleveland Cavaliers vs Denver Nuggets | March 7th, 2020

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Sexton has to work on an euro step on fast breaks.
Funny thing about Sexton is, he is so explosive off of a miss and especially on those long rebounds, he'll create transition opportunities on possessions most guys would just walk up the floor. That part of his game is Westbrook-esque. He just doesn't have the same kind of explosion when he gets near the basket.

It also doesn't help that he basically needs to get knocked into the 3rd row to get a foul call.

With the way he works, I'm sure he'll eventually add some tricks to take advantage of those situations.

Why on earth is TT taking a dribble there? Just go up with your hook man. Fuck.

Love best game in awhile.

why bring it to the ground TT lollllllll absolute classic move by him

Delly is gonna need IV shots after this one!! Take a bow young man.

Spectacular team wide defensive effort in the second half.

Well deserved win, lost a few tight ones like that, but fought through it with the vets big late.

He did play great defence the last 4-5 minutes of the game.

Rejoice.

Early March, are the Cabs slowly becoming the Cavs? I'm starting to believe.

Love best game in awhile.

He has played very well since I started watching regularly, pretty much right before the All Star break. I think Love was legit playing hurt for a few games then took a night off, that's when the haters piled on... but he has stepped up as a leader since the trade deadline and nobody is man enough to admit it.

Great win. Great D by TT on Murray on that last shot.

Holding Denver to 102 points is commendable too, especially considering how bad we’ve seen this defense be this season.

On one hand, I like how well Delly ran the offense and it did lead to some late game buckets by Love.

On the other, I would have liked to see Colin take over a bit in the final two minutes. But a Delly running through O was what worked all game so it’s nice that Bickerstaff allowed that to happen rather than just shell up into the typical NBA late game ISO possessions.

Team deserves credit. Two of their best dribbles creators/shot makers are out tonight and they’re going against the third seed in Western Conference.

Team continues to play harder and better since JBB took over for JB

Also pretty clear Delly and Sexton need to play more together. Garland better get back stat before ... well, I don't want to say it, but things are looking really good right now. If I were him, I'd try to be a part of it, assuming he isn't at great risk for further injury.

And I liked how Darius was consistently putting in effort defensively and not ball-stopping on the other end prior to his being hurt. I was happy to see him first off the bench to celebrate the win though. Seems like a genuinely good kid.

He is still an all star level talent when he is engaged, but as the leader criticism is part of the role.

Sexton with 5 assists on a day when with who was out, his main job for sure was to score....that is a very good sign...well that and he did score...efficiently.

I didnt watch the game, but how do you take 15 shots inside the arc and only get fouled once. He really needs to stop fucking the refs wives or something, because that is crazy.

I've been saying all year that I didn't believe we had worst in the league level talent on this team. For whatever reason, things have turned rather considerably since the coaching change.

Nail the upcoming draft and we should be really excited about the future.
