Cavs win the second half 68-51 with an offensive explosion and solid defense. After 12 turnovers in the first half the Cavs cut it to 4 in the second and that was a huge factor.
The other huge factor was the 3-point shooting as the Cavs went 11-for-21. Over 50% is rare but they did it tonight.
Seven Cavs were in double figures as they shared the rock. Defensively they had seven blocks and 14 steals, but still gave up 107 points, which isn't bad but not great, either. They did a nice job on Wright, holding him to 11.
Windler with a team high +29 in 22 minutes. Sexton was a +25 and put up an All-Star caliber line of 29/5/5 on 10-for-14. As we can see from the tweet, he got more excited about setting up Windler for a 3 then he does when he scores himself.
Prince continues to play really well off the bench with a line of 13/7/5 and a +20 in 30 minutes. With Nance and Love out he's getting solid minutes and making the most of the opportunity.
Drummond, well, you take the bad with the good. He had 23 points, 16 rebounds, and 5 steals, but he also missed 15 shots and committed four turnovers. He should not be taking 24 shots when the next highest takes 14.
Anyway, great team effort in the second half as they cut out the turnovers, held the Pistons to 51 points, and got everybody involved in the scoring while hitting over 50% of their 3's. We're back to .500.
