Benching Drummond is not going to make us suddenly start winning, especially against good teams, because right now this team is lost.

But Drummond does zero for development of the other guys and has zero impact beyond this season, so it is time to pull the plug on him.

Either 16 minutes a game off the bench or just flat out JR him until a trade or buyout happens.

Theyre going to be stupid and wait until Love gets back, acting like that will fix things, but I don’t want to see Drummond play another minute and I can’t think of a legit reason left for him to play any minutes.

And while I am not giving up on the young players who are struggling, as someone said in the Draft Thread, there is nobody on this team that you allow to dictate who we draft if we have a top5 pick. Suggs and Cunningham should be on the table. Mobley on the table. Green and Kuminga, on the table. If we’re in the top 5, it’s is 100% BPA regardless of position

Lilliard is turning 31 in July and I’d still trade the farm for him. A few years of Dame Time infinitely > than whatever this rebuild is going to yield.
