Can’t be understated again that of our 9 players playing tonight, 8 of them have played in the league 4 years or less and 5 of them 2 years or less. It’s a recipe for inconsistency, turnovers, miscommunication, etc

I didnt see when Sexton got hit in the mouth but I BET it was PJ Tucker

I just watched him try to hurt Okoro, he's clipping Allen anytime he's rolling or hitting the glass (not boxing out, clipping him like a cheap ass offensive lineman chop blocking - he just did it to McGee on the Osman missed 3) and then he just succeed at running through Garland's left thigh

He's making an effort to follow through physically anytime he can make contact, and it's intentional and dirty as hell

Victor Oladipo and John Wall are still two of the best perimeter defenders in the goddamn league

Oladipo has 2 all defensive first teams, lead the league in steals and finished in the top 20 for steals 3x
Wall has a all defensive first team, lead the league in steals finished in the top 20 for steals 6x

The Rockets are swarming the perimeter and fouling everything on the drive

Tucker is trying his damndest to use 10 fouls

All things considered, for this young group of pups to be up 4 on this gauntlet of embarrassed defensive experience, I'll take this going into the 4th

I see growth and maturation. The puppies had to put on their shoulder pads for this one and they are answering the call
