I accumulated a lot of rep creating the game threads back in the day (frankly, they may have been my idea back then...but years have wrecked my memory - apologize if I stole anyone's thunder). However, guys like Wham (forget your original name), Splitz, etc - I recall creating and monitoring the thread that members selected as gameday previews to build. That's when the creativity came out from some of you slick operators behind a keyboard. Lot of beauty and comedy in those intros!

That's so kind and well put! Completely agreed. It can be a wonderful vehicle for creativity, expression, and the perfect way to get the ball rolling for the game coming up.

Wham is doing such a great job, as well as everyone who has contributed to the game day previews as time has gone by.

The Cavs got this. The Wiz, to their credit, have played well, but the Cavs are on another level. They can’t compete with our height:

Our bigs are so disruptive. The Cavs jump out to a big lead and coast to a 15-20 point win tonight.

Right. If one of those two guys gets in foul trouble, it could really change the game. And the way JA has been getting to the line, Gafford needs to be smart. Harrell is not only shorter, but he’s also not a great defender.

Love what Beal is doing with Washington btw. Not too long ago people were calling that Wall's team and Beal the injured bust. Not anymore. Wall is rotting in Houston while Beal is having MVP seasons.

I honestly don’t know what to expect this game. Wiz have been playing good ball.

If the Wizards are 7-3 without Bryant and Hachimura it's scary to think how good they'll be once these two starters get back.

Spicy take but i think they get worse. Bryant and Hachimura are both awful on defense and the extra offensive pop doesnt make up for how much worse I expect their D to be as a result

If Frobley has a good night, we probably win IMO. If we can’t get those two going, we’ll need to hope we hit enough 3’s to stay in it.

Cavs have been so fun this year. Been impatiently waiting for this game all week.

Isaac Okoro (left hamstring) is good to go for Wednesday's game vs. the Wizards.​

Okoro is back after a seven-game absence, so he may have his minutes monitored tonight, although he's looking at a ton of opportunity with Lauri Markkanen still in quarantine and Collin Sexton (knee) set to miss a significant amount of time. He's someone to think about as a streamer in deep leagues, but he hasn't done much to this point in his career.

Cavs guards might have some issues with the size of the Washington team but I think overall if we can get scoring from Osman Windler or Wade to offset it , the neutralized center battle shouldn't matter. I don't see Allen having a dominant game in this one. Maybe Mobley takes advantage of Kuzma but I bet Kuzma slides to the 3 with a better defender tasked with Mobley.

not sure why you think that. Wizards have plenty of size depth in fact are bigger overall in the back court as well . I think with the Cavs down to Mobley and Allen unless you think Tacko is a factor it will come down to stopping their guards

yeah just looking at that roster besides Beal they have some snipers in Bertans, Kispert and to some extent Kuzma.

What? In college he was a sniper. Thus far in the NBA he is a brick machine 3 for 13 from deep.

I just like how the Cavs have been playing. They don’t make excuses for guys who are out or who aren’t playing well. Other guys step up, they play unselfishly, and just get it done. That’s what I expect tonight
