Game Thread | 2021-2022 Season | Game #56 | Cavs @ Sixers | Feb. 12, 2022 | 7:00 p.m.

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
After watching that Celtics win over Philly, and so far in this Philly and Milwaukee game, our loss to Philly feels more and more like a coaching loss. Milwaukee is trapping Embiid whenever he gets the ball on the perimeter. JBB either did not respect the 76ers/Embiid or he wasn't concerned about winning. Either way, he threw our young and new guys out there and told them to figure it out.

I see that same coaching in some of the team's successes. DG and Rubio were so good at running the team that it looked like we had a system; we don't. Kevin is scoring lights out from three this season and when he gets hot it looks like we have competent offense; we don't. These are concerning. I really don't know if JBB is competent enough to make LeVert work for this team.

He has made adjustments on 2nd games. Last time we saw this team winning was based on making Simmons' life hell and keeping him from getting the ball to Embiid. They played through Embiid this time.

JB isn't a great in game adjustments guy, but give him some tape and he adjusts. Even from 1st to 2nd halves he is very good.

I think his test is a lot like what the guys will face and we will learn what he is made of in the playoffs.

He gets ridiculous calls Philly will be annoying to watch tbh

It sucks because my least favorite player is joinging one of my favorite players to watch.

Good news for Cavs fans is we are probably looking at about a year before Harden blows it all up.

Here's the question of Harden+Embiid: how well will Harden perform in the playoffs and how well will he defend?

That’s hilarious…..using Harden’s name in the same sentence with the word “defend” ;)

Embiid is probably the most skilled C to ever play but isn't the best because he has off nights and can be prone to turnovers. He's very, very good but I don't think he dominates games like Russell or Kareem. Cavaliers saw him at his peak as did the Bucks, but he had weak games against OKC and Boston. He's never been consistent in the playoffs, including the infamous Atlanta series last season.

I'm a huge fan of his game but he still can do better.
