Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Why did we give an extension to a rebuild coach...smh and more importantly when will the front office realize that he is not a playoff caliber coach:banghead:

That was the best 3rd quarter I've seen from us in a long time. Too bad our bench came in and fucked it all to hell. They were the begining of the end. I'm completely sold on Goodwin as backup pg and nobody can convince me of Rondo. He is a turnover machine.

Didn’t even have to look to know who you were talking about.

What does he do to justify starting, let alone average 30 minutes a night?
Hey that's not fair, I bitched about Okoro's rebounding months ago and was ruthlessly attacked because that was not his role. Okoro knows his role. His role is to stand in the corner and do as little as possible in order to make it seem like we are playing 4 on 5.

Mobley is def more comfortable at PF defensively. Seems like he sees the floor better from there and gets to his spots better as a PF. Allen can’t return soon enough.

Durant only made 3 point shot in the last 8min of 4th quarter while Markkanen was in.

No one is actually thinking Markkanen is KD stopper but it looks like he stopped him.
After that specific three which itself is indefensible go back and watch how the rest of the defense reacted to Durant and how they reacted when Markannen was on him directly?

I’m a Pro Markannen guy. He’s being put in UNFAIR and IMPOSSIBLE positions by the coaching staff and it’s affecting the entire defense. And it’s not his fault that Okoro can’t track anyone off the ball anymore and it’s not his fault Mobley is 50 lbs lighter than Drummond. I’m just putting a face on one of the major failures of the 4th quarter because Stevens should have been in the game and should have been on Durant and that’s about it.

You know you’re losing the argument when you have to try and publicly declared who is winning and losing an argument.

You defend Bickerstaff at every turn and are consistently making yourself look dumb. Tonight is the pinnacle of that. Revel in it, because coaching like this is losing him the rest of the front office, ownership and half of his locker room in quick order.
Well since you have started the ad hominems…You look like an idiot when you claim I defend JBB at every turn. I bet you can’t find a single time I’ve called him a great or even good coach.

I just hate lazy arguments. That’s why my op was specifically against the idea that a 2 and a half minute stretch without DG and LeVert with 5 fouls lost us the game.

I’ll push back on people disparaging a player that I dislike if the argument is unsound.

The hilarious thing is you never even countered my specific argument. You get triggered way too easily

I watched the whole game but I stayed out of this thread. Not once did I think this result was completely because of the coaching. What I saw was our players getting beat by better players.

Then I come in here, read a few pages, and apparently there's a circle jerk going on in here (as usual) to completely blame the loss on JB. You guys are in a little co-dependent bubble with this shit. You blame every single thing that's wrong with this team on the head coach alone. It reminds me of an ex-wife I once had, who filtered all blame in a certain direction regardless of what the reality was.

Yeah JB is far from perfect. But he's become a focal point for a certain group of fans. There's a couple of players who receive the regular hate too depending on particular biases (LeVert comes to mind).

Smell the coffee boys, the Nets beat us tonight because they're the better squad. It was to be expected. Our guys put up a good battle for a big part of the game and I'm mostly proud of their effort. But Nash didn't beat JB. The players on the floor are the reason for the end result.
We normally agree on a lot of things, but I do think JBB deserves some criticism for not playing Stevens at all in the 4th. Stevens was phenomenal on Durant in the 3rd and really gave the whole team an energy spark on D.

But I do agree the Nets are a better team than us, so I'm not totally surprised at the L. I decided to watch a bit to see if we had a chance. I was surprised it was close much of the way. And not everything should be placed on JBB. But not playing Stevens in the 4th was a bad decision IMO, and one most agree with here. It may be stated in some over-the-top ways by some posters, but it's a valid criticism.

You hate “lazy” arguments yet make them almost every time you post. You don’t even make arguments, you simply post targeted and pretentious bullshit, and then wonder why nobody finds any of it relevant enough to engage directly on. You post like a troll, you get treated like one.

Steven definitely did a kick-ass job of checking KD tonight. (I had a feeling he would).

Agree. The Cavs lost the momentum in the fourth quarter because their players, not the coach, missed their open shots for several possessions in a row whereas the Nets made them. This is how many of the losses are created for teams night after night in the NBA.

He did as good as he could. He legitimately had him in check for a while. Any miss from KD is a plus. We gave shit up in the paint instead. That game (excluding the 1st quarter) was very encouraging. I missed the 4th quarter and I'm glad I did.
