Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I dunno I think if you just putt Suggs in this lineup to give them a defensive pest that changes their dynamic.

Jarrett Allen probably plays MTG and wears a fedora in his free time. NTTAWWT

We didn’t have a good shooting night especially Mitchell but many others stepped up to win the game.

Mobley had 22 and Allen had 18 with 16 rebounds (7 offense). Both played well defensively and did a great job with help defense that you don’t see much on the stat score. These guys will play even better when Garland comes back but I do love the aggression they played tonight especially Mobley.

Levert again didn’t shoot well except for his 3 catch and shoot 3s. But he played really well defensively again - by far the most improved player so far this season. Loved the playmaking he has made and dished many sweet bounce passes - at least 4 tonight. He was able to contest many shots whether it is Ross, Wagner, etc.

Cedi continues to do well and made some nice passes.

Wade with the 4-7 all from downtown. Plays good defense, good size for a wing, and hits shots when open. He’s the type of player I really wanted Okoro to be but Wade has done really well on both sides.
He doesn’t have to shoot much but looks for the shot when open and drains.

Spida didn’t have a good shooting night but he made some wow plays that energized the crowd. He did find plays for his teammates and dished out 8 assists. Bad shooting night happens but he found other ways to help the team.

Neto - love his full court pressure and pesky defense. When he hits wide open 3s, that is great too. Love his energy and that will pay off in b2b games during the season which will give a big boost.

And another win without DG.

Off to Boston.

A solid win when we didn't play our best. Mobley had a team-high 22 points. I think he read this forum at half-time.

We held them to 42 points in the 2nd half.

Our bench outscored them by 14. There's our victory.

They played well enough to beat about 3 or 4 teams tonight, fortunately Orlandonis one of those teams. Looked a lot like 2nd half of last year, with Mitchell playing the garland role. Good D, take the win and hope Garland can play on Friday.

Get right 2nd half from Mobley, you could see his assertiveness increasing. I would still like to see us give it to him more on the move and at the top of the key where he can playmake instead of hunting a mismatch and get him on the block on a stationary postup, but at least he was calling for it and getting it today.

Allen is getting back to form, he was absolutely dominant in the paint.

Neto was a difference maker with the way he was pressuring the ball, great situational minutes for him tonight.

Games like tonight are why I hope we eventually settle with Wade as the 5th starter once he's healthy. Caris did a ton of good on the court and as long as he's working his ass off on defense and sharing the ball, I don't think you can bench him. But he's still a very poor efficiency, high usage player, and once Garland is back the shots Caris takes are probably better distributed to the top 4 guys. Wade is perfectly content playing his role and his 3 point accuracy and speed of release both look improved so far this year.

Overall, not bad considering our starting back court went 7-31, we shot 30% from 3 and 70% from the line.

Potential red flag to look out for: through 4 games, Caris can't finish in the paint at all. Just beyond abysmally bad shooting in the paint, and he's not getting fouled either.

They were a shitty defensive team in the 2nd half last year and would have lost this game.

In fact, they did lose this game with basically everything on the line.
