Game Thread | Game #47 | Warriors @ Cavs | Jan. 20, 2023

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
GSW has not beaten a .500+ team on the road this season.

Gotta pound them inside on both ends.

There are so many Warriors I would love to see get fingercuffed

I thought they might be mailing it in. Like I said, in three of their six back-to-backs on the road they've sat Curry, KT, and Wiggins in the second game. Now they're adding Draymond as well.

JaMychal Green, Wiseman, and Kuminga are listed as game time decisions. So their guards will be Ty Jerome, Poole, and DiVincenzo, their forwards will be Lamb, Moody, and maybe Kuminga, with Looney and maybe JaMychal Green and/or Wiseman at center.

The Cavs' fans who bought single game tickets hoping to see Curry, Thompson, Wiggins, and Green take on the Cavs are getting ripped off.

I’m looking for wins and seeding right now and gettin to the all star break healthy, not tests against Western Conference teams so more than happy to face the Warriors B Squad tonight. Cavs need to show up and play as if it’s BOS or MIL

Dammit man I really wanna see the Cavs play and BEAT a good team that's healthy.

By my eye, the last healthy solid team the Cavs beat was Dallas over a month ago.

And that makes sense. That's probably the last game I said to myself "the Cavs played really well."

New Orleans was missing a bunch of top guys. Phoenix was too.

It's got me worried.

It goes both ways, we were without Mitchell vs. Denver and Memphis, robbing us a chance to see how we match up when it’s all hands on deck for both teams.

I’m more concerned about wins for seeding, getting to the all star break healthy, and adjusting to any roster tweaks made in the next 3 weeks. Obviously once we get to that point, I also want to see them play really well against the top teams and build the right rhythm heading into the playoffs

I mean they did just lose to the Grizzlies by a single point and that’s with a 5 second violation and a non drawn up play at the end in the last 30 seconds of the game…

Outside of the actual W and the L I would say they played really well on the road against a healthy, high caliber, scorching hot grizzlies team—- and did so without their best player.

I suspect there are far more Warriors bandwagoners who are getting ripped off than Cavs fans. I'm still pondering picking up a cheapy ticket, downing a few beers, and pretending Jerome, Poole, and Looney are Steph, Klay and Draymond and yell things accordingly like when I go see tribute bands.
