I'm Here For The Next Hour... Ask Me Cavs Questions.

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
So we only trade a skilled one way player for a skilled 2 way player?

It will take more than Sexton to net an Ingram or a Jalen Brown.
Of course, contracts don't match. But a sexton + prince + 1st rd pick/2 2nd rounders is a good offer for talent, flexibility and potential

I think Sexton would flourish in NO. With Ball they can actually start him at SG and let him do his thing.

One wonders if NO could use Love. His spacing and rebounding would be valued. They really needed spacing.

But they would undoubtedly want more than just Sexton (and Prince isn't worth anything).

I imagine they might want the Cavs RD 1 pick next year, and another young player. Nance? Sexton/Love, 2022 RD 1 (Top 5 Protected). Maybe taking a bad contract off their hands?

But, to be honest, a starting lineup of Ball/Sexton/Zion/Love/Adams is not a bad one, provided Love starts giving a shit again. Love gives them spacing and more rebounding, and Adams helps cover him on D. Sexton would feast with Ball handling the ball and take a lot of pressure off of Zion without duplicating his skillset like Ingram.

I could see the 10th pick being offered for Colin. That's about it and they would have to like him. You aren't getting Ingram

Shit, so... The Cavs like Cade over Green and Mobley, and prefer Green to Mobley. Can't say that instills confidence in me as far as having trust in this FO making draft decisions.
Fortunately for you, since you have Mobley #1, two of the three will likely be gone anyway.

It doesn’t matter what order we have them in. We get the one that’s left.

I'm currently indifferent about Mobley/Green. I prefer Mobley I think, but it doesn't matter for me. What scares me is Cade slipping and Cavs selecting him. It could be totally wrong on my part, but I have concerns about his game.

Cade will not slip past two
This draft is easy. If Mobley is there.. pick him. If not it’s green
No trade down. You want quality not quantity

Would a trade for a player like Brandon Ingram require a sign and trade of Sexton? Or would we just be packaging multiple contracts to make money work?

For example, at Sexton's current salary, you could package Sexton + Prince + Osman to make the trade go through.

Regardless, I doubt we can land a player of Ingram's ability. But it is fun to think about the scoring potential of Garland-Green-Ingram.

You’re concerned with picking Cade at 3? Who would you prefer? Kuminga?

Kuminga is another name that sounds like a Chinese Amazon knockoff brand, to go in there with Giddey and Sengun.

Pretty sure I accidentally bought a kid’s bike or a multi-pack of drywall screws from them. Maybe it was patio furniture covers.
