Because Okoro is in our rotation. We need someone to play backup SG minutes, either start Wade, and LeVert can back up SG and Lamar backs up some at sf and Levert the rest, or Windler needs to be healthy and play SG. Wade cant play SG, I really doubt Windler is usefull either. Issue is we need Okoro in our rotation right now.

If we have Wade starting and Caris as our backup SG with Lamar as our backup SF and the SG/SF rotation including Mitchell, Caris, Wade, Stevens and sometimes Rubio (when he's back) I think we're good. It's 106 minutes between 4-5 players. We know both Caris and Mitchell are going to get about 35 each. So really we have 36 minutes left over to divide between Stevens and Wade. To me, if Okoro plays more than 10 minutes a game, we're doing something very wrong or someone is injured. Ultimately it would be great to get a real SF as a starter as opposed to having to play a stretch 4 (which is really all 4s minus Mobley now) as a small forward.

I have been making the point about starting Wade for no other reason to get Okoro out of the rotation for a couple of weeks now.

When Rubio is back and we are fully healthy, starting Levert doesnt matter as far as keeping Okoro out of the rotation. That siad, I think Levert is the better overall player than Wade, but because of Okoro and ball handling and rotations, i am back to believing we need to start Wade when he is healthy and i have thought that for a bit.

Also wade is a backup PF, but that is already Love's role,, Wade doesnt get as many minutes because of overlap and where he can really play. There are several reasons why I think we should start Wade, keeping Okoro on the bench is just one of them.

Oh, don't get me wrong. I don't think Wade is better than Caris. I just think we have a situation where we have an undersized backcourt as it is. And though Mitchell is probably pound for pound the strongest player on the squad, opposing teams can definitely take advantage of our lack of size. ESPECIALLY when Allen is out of the lineup. We just need a 3 and D guy at the 3. Especially with two elite level ball handlers in the starting lineup, having Caris in there doesn't make sense. If either one of Mitchell or Garland are out, LeVert is our clear best option to start. But I feel like JBB is just shoehorning him into the SF role.

Dude sucks on both ends. My friends and I call him OBrickO. Which is a terrible nickname.. Could use some ideas..

Isuck is my go to, preceded by some expletives usually.
I'll be sure to use that one next game when he manages more fouls than points yet again with 20+ minutes of play.

ObrickO
ISuck
Isaac Oh-No-No (He's Shooting/Dribbling)

Skillwise he's the worst rotation player in the entire NBA. His one limited skill is that he can defend opposing 6'-4" players.

If the Warriors can send Wiseman to the G league the Cavs can do the same with 0k0r0 who was selected 3 picks later in the same draft.

Like does he just not know what to do on offense? Other guys can move, cut etc. It's not like he's got zero ability. He just like.. doesn't do anything

He is really a small ball 4. First time he was comfortable all season.

He played well. Good defense, rebounding, attacking the basket on fast breaks, hit his 3s was playing with a lot of energy yesterday.
If Love, Wade, and LeVert are out tonight Isaac will get a chance to build off last night's solid performance (+26 in 29 minutes). Hopefully scoring 13 points in the first half and being selected for Serena's halftime interview will boost his confidence.

Finally hitting a 3 a couple games ago seems to have cracked him open a little. Gotta keep being a threat.

Yes, hopefully it does. I've said this before we just need him to be aggressive. Play with energy and shoot the open shots with no hesitation.
