Yeah, but the five turnovers.14 points on 10 shots tonight! Baby steps!
Dude Bobby Phil’s never seemed small out there like everWatch this video and tell me you don't see Isaac Okoro. On both ends
This was Phills first year as a full-time starter. 25 years old. Averaged 11 ppg on 41% shooting and 34% 3pt
Phills made Jordan's night hell in this game. But watch him on both ends not just on defense (Okoro looks like 25 yr old 4th yr vet Phills already as a 19yr old) but also watch him on offense. He was a straight line, get to the rim guy on offense at this point in his development. Fratello ran a ball control (thats putting it generous as I remember about 10 games that year in the 70pt scoring range)
Man... watching Okoro tonight and I literally just had Bobby Phills deja-vu
Buckner is 6'4 and okoro is at least an inch taller based on their photo together. I'm not concerned about his height.Well, the Cavs seem to be pretty happy with him.
Inside the Cleveland Cavaliers’ Isaac Okoro plan: ‘It’s basically throw him to the wolves’ and watch him grow
Position doesn’t matter. Neither does status. The Cavaliers want to test him against the league’s best. It’s all part of their plan, one devised shortly after Okoro was chosen with the No. 5 pick.www.cleveland.com
We know he has to become a better shooter to become a two-way player. We’ve worked on his shot over and over. Down the road, I see an exceptional two-way basketball player and one of the best to do it on both sides of the ball. - Greg Buckner
Got a lot of work to do. He’s young. Give him time.Guy sucks.
There’s never been a franchise who didn’t speak glowingly of their top 5 pick. They know their own jobs depend on him developing into something. He will be talked up and given every chance to succeed for the next 3 years, even if he’s terrible.Well, the Cavs seem to be pretty happy with him.

I'm fine being one of the few riders still in the bar-car of the Issac Okoro train. I'll be here with this glass of Middleton neat with a drizzle of water.
The thing about Middleton, you have to take your time sippin' it. It's a slow, slow burn.
See you next year for the second round!
I liked Okoro at 5 prior to draft. Also liked Deni and Vassell. I think he ends up OK.I dont drink, but im still giving Okoro a couple years before judging him (despite being wholly against picking him in the first place)...
He had an injury tho. I’d wait to see how he plays when he’s 100%At least we aren't the Hawks. Okongwu is so bad they cant even play him. He might be the next Mo Bamba.
