He might not be the greatest. He has very good people skills. He has an ability to manage egos and get everybody on the team to buy in. outside of Kevin Love who was a headcase not worth dealing with I’m very impressed with the job is done just getting everybody to play defense. Everyone really roots for everyone.
I think it’s fair to say he is elite from a people perspective but below average from a X’s and O’s perspective. Can be supplement his strength is the question.

He struggles to adjust. Watching 3rd quarter leads fall apart because he can't realize teams are knocking everything down in the interior with our spacing is annoying. Then Garland/LeVert get turnovers as a result of having no where to go with the ball, people bitch in game threads and wonder what is going on. JB says high.

Garland’s turnovers are down .7 a game this season and he’s under 3 per game. The second lowest of his career.

Also, why is Caris of all people catching strays here? He’s at his lowest turnovers per game since his rookie season when he only played 21 minutes a game. 1.6 turnovers per game this season is really really good for someone who handles the ball as much as he has.

But even if the turnovers were a result of what you’re saying, how is the lack of spacing on offense on JB? What options does he have on the bench who are reliable floor spacers, are willing to shoot the ball, and/or won’t kill the Cavs defensively?

3rd quarter issues.

#1 defense #8 offense. If he didn't have one allstar player, they wouldn't be in the playoffs

I don’t care how it’s done or how many games, or what happens in the second round, but only way I’m not bringing him back is if we don’t make it out the first round. Inexcusable.

frankly I fail to see many playoff teams without at least one.
But my complaints at this point are less on JB and more on this rotation we have. This team wins because of defense. If you can score to keep up pace with your defense, you stay in the rotation. That's one reason Lamar ate Dean Wade's minutes. That's one reason that we're seeing more Cedi (whose defense is..... toilet tbh). I understand the vision. Maybe if you can bomb on offense you stay (that was Kevin Love before this season's injury).

I thought in the Knicks game, booting Ricky for Neto was a much needed adjustment. Perhaps a little too late, but Brunson was less of a problem with Neto coming in with the reserves.

At this point, my complaints about JB dwindle, when my complaints about decisions the front office have made that hogtied this team's roster options are becoming more loud. Sticking with LeVert has mostly been a W. Roster fixes around the margins lessens the pressure on JB and ups it on the players. Donovan Mitchell for example in this ONE season, the first on a new team just looks like a better player than he was on the Jazz.

This offseason and the one following gonna be massive.

We need to add veteran bench men. Our bench is mostly trash. Didn’t matter much when we weren’t good but we need depth, especially at 4/5. Koby will figure it out.

Great job JB. You have worn this team out. So much for top 3 defense. He is getting fired one way or another.

Most coaches do.

JB isn’t getting fired this year though. Think we’re looking at summer of 24 at the absolute earliest

Entire starting lineup is 26 and under and the Cavs are a top 5 team.

You read this thread and you’d assume JB has this team in their prime below .500.
He sucks. Mitchell is carrying this team. 3 40+ games in a row. I could slap him on the ass and say play hard like JBB and would get the same result
