He’s easy to root for in my opinion, just wish he grew with what I think his flaws are. Get an offensive coordinator, learn from late game situations. He’s been here long enough now.

What young solid up and coming coaches are available?

This guy has to go ASAP if the Cavs want to develop Mobley and if its not too late, Garland. Kolby's loyalty to JB is going to ruin the Cavs franchise for years to come.

We need to poach Jordi Fernandez from Sacramento. That's my choice #1. He's a brilliant offensive mind and has history with the organization. It's only a matter of time before he becomes a head coach, and I hope it's us that gives him the opportunity.

There are also people who would be interested in Kenny Atkinson, who showed promise as head coach of the Nets, but I'm a little weary about him since no one has hired him in a head coach role these last 4 seasons. (edit: apparently Charlotte made an offer that Atkinson turned down)

Internally, Greg Buckner and Luke Walton are "next in line" from our assistant coaches, but I don't want either of them being the head coach of this team. I only see either guy as an interim coach at best, as they don't bring enough to the table to get the head chair full-time over other options.

JB is a dead man walking after last night. I’m convinced.

That said, just because some were wholly convinced all along that this was going to be the outcome doesn’t mean it always was. He deserved the opportunity to continue growing as the results grew.

For about 2 months there, it looked like he had. Then he reverted. He’s now completely out of time.

Though there could be some serious ramifications (would Mitchell be upset?) I think they should dump JBB now. I know we all want that anyways, but I think it's smart to drop him. I actually think even if the team coached itself at this point, they'd do a better job. The lineups for the last month have been absolutely garbage. Who could even do worse? That lineup in the 2nd quarter was such garbage and no reasonable person would have ever considered it.... yet... our fearless leader did. He makes no sense, he plays favorites, it's really just garbage.

I don't know how to even evaluate the team with him in charge.

Thanks for the info. I agree and the Sacto coach Jordi would be a good candidate. Need someone that can draw up a play after time outs

JB needs and players to win for him. He was lucky in December. They could have lost against the Rockets and should of against the Mavs, their biggest debacle game of the season. Talk about a ugly December it could have been. Then we have Mitchell playing one of his best runs of his career, which led to a nasty injury. JB really needed last year's Garland to come in and steal a few wins. But outside the Suns/Pelicans, that guy doesn't show up much.

JB doesn't help a team win and never has. Which is why he needs replaced.

What an absolute masterpiece from JBB….

If you’re a non JBB fan you’re a dry ass military meal in a “tear here” pouch with no flavor or substance and zero sophistication…

He’s brilliant…
