Johnny Manziel: Swan Won't Return His Calls

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
If he only would of had a scotch and sung Rudolph the red nose reindeer instead

He can't drive the ball downfield; he can't withstand pressure; he can't throw accurately at all under duress; his footwork is pitiful; he consistently makes poor decisions; his mechanics as they are don't seem they'd ever allow him to ever overcome his height. all of the aforementioned are exhibited in that video.

There are literally no redeemable traits depicted in that reel.

I think this is a good thing though; I think if we hire a seemingly competent GM this offseason, the film will motivate him to find the little fuck's contract, find the nearest lighter and set it on fire right in front of him as he yells "GET THE FUCK OUT."

I can't wait to breakdown that video. Sadly the Manzel Mafia will not like the results.

Put the god damn cell phone down! Turn the camera phone off! Stop posting it on social media or sharing it with shitty friends who forward it to deadspin.

Why is it so hard for this numb-nuts to understand?

Unfortunately that's never going to happen. Football is not his top focus/priority and never will be. Same as Josh Gordon, Braylon Edwards, Kellen Winslow, etc..,

The team either has to accept the behavior (they've done that so far) or get rid of the individual cancer (they usually finally give up after their value is gone).

It's unfortunate but it's not going to change anytime soon. It could be worse; we could have a top player with huge off-field issues with the law/media (Peterson, Ray Rice/Lewis, Vick, Hernandez, etc..,).

Yes, you are absolutely correct, I'm so glad the Browns instead have a shitty player with huge off-field issues with sobriety/media vs that other scenario. So much more palatable.

Did he actually post it online? I was under the impression that it just got forwarded to busted coverage by some shitty third party.

This is Mary Kay's recounting of the chain of custody:

"Manziel's Christmas Eve video was first posted on the Yeti Campus Stories app and then picked up on Instagram and by Bustedcoverage.com and other sites."

Anyone else have anything else?

I agree though that Manziel needs to invest in a 1980's brick cell phone that only makes calls.

its embarrassing to see a football player have fun at his home on Christmas eve after being given the night off.

and how dare he take a video and possibly share with a friend.

Good thing Pettine is taking this seriously and needs to review the 2 minute video. Yet continues to talk about it.

Again, for most 23-year-olds, drinking a Four Loko on Christmas Eve is no big deal. But Manziel spent 73 days in an addiction treatment center in the offseason, and his high school coach and friend Julius Scott told USA Today Sports that he's not supposed to be drinking.

Manziel wasn't and isnt the NFL substance abuse program. The only program that can mandate over an existing contract. Manziel checked himself into a a 2 month rehab.

He hasn't broken any laws and he certainly didn't take a pic of himself on bed in a pink rabbit suit..

I agree it is is embarrassing. He's not supposed to be drinking. He's also been asked not to do the social media thing anymore this season. He said he wouldn't...yet he did. He has zero self control, like most addicts. The distraction continues. #manzielhell
