Cool. Sorry this news is bad news to you.
Josh Gordon is still clean and unsuspended. His treatment program has been successful in keeping him clean so far. This is good news to a lot of us.
Really excited for the rest of this good news, bad news, medium news, no news discussion of semantics.
I don't understand while people are taking this as bad news.
The actual NFL sent a statement saying Gordon did not fail a drug test. This is unheard of for them to do, so it was important to note this is not a drug issue.
He had a drug issue because of the depression and anxiety. These issues don't get fixed overnight so the fact its ongoing treatment is not a surprise. If Gordon had a torn quad muscle and was rehabbing in Florida, no one would think anything of it.
Finally, clearly this is the Brown's idea as they did not punish him and keep an extra year of control. If you want good news, that is the good news, I don't think anything is at risk and I really believe this is about keeping Gordon away from the cameras of Hard Knocks.
