Just Want to Throw This Out There....

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Glen Braggs was a guy that I always thought was juicing.

Juan Gonzalez for sure. Larry Walker and Donte Bichette, i think for certain teams, such as the Yankees, it would be really hard for someone to get away with using them.

Everytime I here of someone pulling a hammy, I seriously think about the possibility that the player used 'roids. Part of the issue with roids is the player's loss of flexibility. This can cause all sorts of muscle pulls if the muscles are bulked up too much. Hence I've always wondered about Manny. He pulls his hammy's all the time. And, it's not like he's actually giving any effort to run out ground balls. The one defense that I give to him, is that he's so laid back that there is no hint of any roid rage.

Damon has never been a home run guy or power guy. He has never hit more then 25 homers in one year. Its hard to say with some of these guys, i think players who put up big numbers in a contract year are always suspect to using steroids or HGH, most of these guys dont care about records or any of that stuff, they care about the pay day that comes with having a 30 HR 100 RBI and .300 BA one year. You take steroids for 1 season, get all that during a contract year and get a nice little 4 year $25-30 million contract. To them, its worth it.

Looks like Jesus, act like Judas throws like Mary.

Amazing the Sox were able to win with Manny and Damon in the OF.

It might be easier to come up with a list of players who didn't inject. Tops on my list would be Ken Griffey Jr.

^Doubt it, at least not since he was in MLB. If Ortiz was on Roids, Hafner was as well.

I'd say a guy like the Big Hurt, Frank Thomas, was just a naturally big guy, who didn't inject.. Same with maybe a Mo Vaughn and a Larry Walker...

I dont think so, Griffey respects the game and plays it right, he wouldnt do something like that and disgrace his family. He was good since he got into the league. I think Griffey is part of the reason people like Mark and Sosa started doing it, Griffey was so good naturally that the only way others were gonna catch up with him or compete is if they did cheat, Griffey had 56 that one year, then the next year Mark hit 70 and Sosa hit 66??

Ben was saying that Griffey didn't inject.

I thought about Ortiz, too, but the evidence suggests otherwise: Ortiz displayed very good power when he was with the Twins. His low overall numbers dealt more with his batting eye and hitting than with his power. He wasn't as good of a hitter at that time. As he got more selective, and made better contact, his numbers increased. I think the greatest reason for his improvement, though, came from something as simple as moving from first base to DH. He no longer had to worry about his defense, so he could concentrate on hitting. Same with Hafner.
