Tyler Herro has started only 7 of 25 games and averaging 20.3 off the bench, he will be 6th man most likely
Yeah it'll be Herro.

I'm hoping Love continues to lead the league in FT%.

He has a greater PER and BPM than Draymond and a higher TS% than Stephen Curry(!) right now.

This team has clearly improved his mental health and he is buying in.

In an alternate universe:
A former champion and All-Star, having been written off as scrap-iron and bought out by his exasperated team, has signed with the Lakers and is in Hell.

In this universe:
A properly run franchise has weathered waves of protest and complaint from the fanbase and the endless goading by national media pundits and finds themselves with a talented, stabilizing veteran who contributes significantly and leads by example. He is having the time of his life.

Sometimes it can really pay to sit on your hands, eh?

Or plug your ears.

Kevin Love:

+9.1 Net Rating
7.0 BPM (6th in the league)
+5.7 RAPTOR (11th in the league)

The dude is literally giving us high-level All-Star value in 20 mpg.

I don't know if his body will allow him to keep it up all year, but its been a great surprise so far.

Your avatar is improving my mental health.

....so if Love stays healthy and keeps up this production, he is basically a shoo-in for 6th Man, right?

I mean he's only making like 31 million a year :celb (13): Kinda sad that we now have to brag about him finally doing what he's supposed to be doing.

while we can't blame Love for the injuries, you can blame the Cavs for re-signing him to that contract when basically nobody was out there ready to do so. Love feels like he's more "one of the guys" than a vet leader.. Jarrett Allen seems more like a veteran leader here than Kev. Heck, tired-ass Tristan Thompson may have been a better leader than Kevin.

He's in a good place now, isn't rocking the boat, plays his role and gets to hang out with Rubio & Ed Davis after the game.
