I’m a Cavs fan first, I appreciate what Love is doing this year on and off the court , especially his sound bites……But I’m not going to forget the KL we all saw the last 2/3 years, where the man was literally throwing baby fits on the court, arguing with Koby etc etc…..I’m not going to question his injuries only he knows if he could have played ,but I do wonder,

He do make for a nice expiring contract next year so I hope we continue to get this KL, and just see what happens……

my View of his last 4 years is a bit more understanding. Imagine coming off a championship run, being in the finals for a run of years, suddenly you go from that to a 20 win team, and your health starts failing Your body begins breaking down, not allowing you to play at the level that you have for decades. Add it a penchance to depression…..I don’t approve of his behavior but I understand it.

Yes, it is one of those issues that I think is somewhat ignored in the NBA. You have a lot of high quality vets who get stuck on tanking teams trying to lose while they can still contribute to winning.

Love came off a 4 year stretch playing with and against the best players in the world to then being asked to stand in the corner, provide spacing to allow Sexton to chuck and the Cavs to lose. I am not saying he dealt with it well but that must be tough mentally, you want to play meaningful basketball but you are now irrelevant as the organization invests time in the next generation.

I hate tanking, in a professional sport, any sport at any level really, losing should never be the goal, it dilutes the integrity of the competition, there has to be a better alternative.

I just get a different feeling when I know Kevin Love is in the zone that particular night…

Sure...but what's the point in holding that grudge? This shit is supposed to be fun.

All Love can do right now is be the absolute best player/teammate he can be, and that's what he's doing. I imagine he also isn't proud of the way he acted all the time, but he can't undo the past. He's doing everything we could possibly ask for/expect at this point, and I personally don't see the value in holding those other years against him.

I still dont get the national media love for Herro as 6th man. He is basically a starter and all he does is score, be bad at everything else, and look punchable. On the other hand, Kevin Love plays real bench minutes, scores rebounds AND passes, and is a total hunk. Easy choice there

Whoa whoa whoa, lol……Not sure what you quote is me holding a grudge, I actually like the KL we’re getting this year, if I was holding a grudge I wouldnt care what he giving us this year….I‘m just happy he not acting like a baby on the court, and to call him a true professional sorta makes me chuckle,…..

As if he couldn't get even more dreamy...

Unless Bob Flor Jr. has a pet health insurance plan, Kevin Love just cost that guy thousands of dollars.

Like I've been saying all along, you can argue Kevin Love's value to Cleveland either way at any point.

Kevin Love this season has been so fun. But the thing I like the most is the amount of charges this man takes. Like WTF? he's truly in "not pressed to do anything but hoop" mode. It's a wonderful place for him to be, esp. at this stage of his career.

And if I'm not mistaken... he's played most of his career in Cleveland now?

Hall of Famer and winding down his career the right way. Happy for him
