Don’t like his attitude, when things are going well he’s all hype and seems like the perfect teammate. As soon as we hit a rut he gives a piss poor effort and his body language just sucks.

Hope we finally manage to move his contract this off-season we need an actual vet who can help our young guys

There's few things I hate in this life (okay, that's a lie) but I do hate the Kevin Love ”What, was I supposed to defend? I'm confused” face every time he concedes a layup or a midrange shot.

What sticks to my mind is Love smiling and laughing with Mo Wagner after Wagner hit a 3pt shot right in his eye. In a critical must-win game.

Yeah, I can see that happening in mid-November. Not at this point.

Done with this guy.

I'll say this for him - considering his age, salary, and injury history the fact that he is tied for the league lead in charges drawn says a lot. The guy wants to win and is willing to get slammed to the floor a couple of times a game if that's what it takes.

He's also an exceptional defensive rebounder. And his younger teammates seem to like him, calling him "Uncle Kev" or "Grandpa Kev".

Sure, I wish he were a better defender, but with Allen, Mobley, and Wade out I'm just glad (and somewhat astonished) he can still suit up for game #81.

Before the season would anybody have guessed he would play 74 games with the only missed games due to COVID?

I think his defensive rebounding is probably his most overlooked contribution. He's not a guy like Cedi who just hits threes. Rebounding has always been Love's top skill; he was a great rebounder before he was a great 3ball shooter in Minny. Even at his age, he grabs 6.1 DRB a game in 22.6 minutes. Mobley grabs 6.2 in 33.9, and Jarrett Allen gets 7.3 in 32.3; Love would get 9 a game adjusted for their same minutes. If Love goes off the team, as some here would prefer because of his defensive deficiencies, the Cavs will nonetheless need another boarder, because Markk and Wade aren't good at that facet of the game.

That is a close second to the LeBron James' "it's not my fault I wasn't playing defense and my guy just scored" look.

Despite everything, I still think Love should be 6MOTY. He has been dynamite for most of the year on offense and contributes in other ways with charges, rebounds, and being one of the better front court passers in the league. Herro can eat my shorts, Kevin Love is the best bench player in the league this season.

He was talking shit to Wagner after he (Love) hit a three, then Wagner came down and hit one a few seconds later back in his face. It was funny. You need to lighten up, dude. Seems like your perspective is perpetually negative. Go watch a rom-com or something.

Yeah I know what happened.

Nothing about that game was "funny". It was the worst loss of the season and I'll be negative about it if I want to.

Wagner laughing I can understand. He's a scrub playing for the worst team in the league. He doesn't matter, his team doesn't matter. I guess you try to keep yourself entertained by any means necessary in a situation like that. And they were playing well.

Kevin Love had absolutely nothing to laugh about. His effort sucks.

Hasn't contested a shot in weeks, then 2 big blocks in a minute. C'Mon man, a bit of leadership a few weeks back might have helped slow this tailspin.

That block on Drummond got me hyped

I’m so proud of Kevin Love man. What an exceptional season for him. After how the last couple years have gone, it would’ve been easy to write him off as a non-factor that would only play in half the games...instead, he finished in 6MOTY contention in a new role, became a true leader on and off the court, led the team in games played, became a maestro at drawing charges, and is one of the league leaders in 3PT shooting percentage.

He put his ego aside, did the work and it paid off.
