Would it be mean to say that is a clear improvement on the last days of his Cavs time?

Unless his shooting shows signs of recovery he is going to struggle to get a contract for next year.

I just don't think he has it physically any more. Legs don't have it, which means his shot is off and he can't play defense.

I'd just rather acknowledge what he was and what he gave us rather than just ragging on/belittling the guy.

You guys are misinterpreting KLove’s stats in Miami. So far he is demonstrating that he still has value as a player and we lost something in letting him go. Miami is starting him and playing him substantial minutes. Further, he has a positive on/off of +4.3 through his first six games with them so on average he’s been helping them on the court so far.

Is your hypothesis here that Erik Spoelstra is a fucking idiot and JBB is a much better coach? Because if Love does suck then that must be true — Spoelstra is starting Love and playing him 20 MPG on a team competing for the playoffs and JBB ran him out of town for nothing and refused to give him any minutes over Lamar Stevens

I'd be on board with this if he was too. The fact that he couldn't accept it and demanded out is why I have no problem ragging on him. He could've been that veteran presence and team-centered like he claimed, but decided to be selfish, instead.

The guy has been playing basketball his whole life and wanted to keep playing the game. I personally don't fault him for that when he could just as easily have collected checks without contributing on the court. Maybe he needs this experience to convince himself it is truly over.

Yeah, sitting on the bench as a spectator/cheerleader isn’t a “lesser role” it’s no role.
