Kicked Out of the Hall of Fame

Do Not Sell My Personal Information

Ugh. Dude did not age well. Which is a shame (sort of).

Looks like a troll now. Took too many PEDs.

I like their work.

Nights in White Satin and In Your Wildest Dreams are good songs.

But, I think on the balance they are not HoF material. Four moderately big hits in three decades are not a whole lot. It isn't bad, but not great. The only thing really recommending them is their longevity.

Their case boils down to what you think of Days of Future Past. If that album standing alone isn't considered sufficiently groundbreaking, they really don't have a case.

I was just reading a list of the 25 worst Rock and Roll HOF inductees and the writer included Bobby Darin and now I'm just really upset.

They’ll make it and all you nerds will secretly be happy.

Nah. Part of our cultish delusion is that the HOF isn't worthy. Fripp wouldn't attend anyway, and unlike most honorees, he'd actually follow through.

Who's in the RCF Hall of Fame?

Well, if we're counting one-hit wonders, then we'd have to include @bukdow, off his debut album, "You Listen To Me, You Fuckers"

The Cleveland Cavaliers will win the NBA Championship. Yes, I have had a few Red Stripes today while splitting wood, but it came to me when the maul hit the wedge.

Their 80s output wasn't too bad, as a nice complementary piece.

They are one of the few groups to score a Top Ten hit in three consecutive decades.

If we are talking NBA accomplishments, I'd kick Calvin Murphy out. His list of accomplishments are 1st team all rookie and 1x allstar. He wasn't particularly great at anything other than FT% but he didn't exactly beat a path to the line for his career.

MLB: Edgar Martinez. He's a DH with good but not great hitting stats

NFL: Ray Lewis; He killed a guy

Rock and Roll: The Moody Blues: I've yet to meet anyone that actively likes any of their songs.
I’ll fight you on Edgar. His hitting numbers are absolutely elite.

How does any kick of nba hall of fame list not start and end with Reggie Miller.

Nah no way. Reggie wasn't GREAT, but he was regularly his teams best player, and his team made the playoffs basically every year.

Bill Bradley, like Randolph said, was never his teams best player. He was never close.

Neither was Mo Cheeks. They were never their teams 2nd best player and its arguable if they were ever even 3rd.

Mo Cheeks was like a slightly above average point guard in an era that really lacked great point guards.
