Kluber Traded to Rangers

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
If the Indians are only getting these two guys back. This is an all time awful trade. All time.

With all due respect, taking out money or anything else, this wasn't even close to comparable return to what they gave up.

Clase will be good. Kluber is probably better. DeShields is worthless. They should have moved Kluber last year.

Does anyone disagree with these statements? If you do, I'd be very curious to hear why.

Do you have a link clase’s make up issues. Have read that nowhere. You realize he is 21
And how good indians are developing pitchers. He will contribute this year. And ours for 6 years
Just watching Texas message board ... was listed as their 30th prospect .... and they didnt have a top system to begin with. They are saying they are selling high. Martinez throws 100 mph, Dowdy is up in high 90s, ... need more data on Case to see what we really have.

Just so those who thought DeShields played 2B. He hasn't played 2B since 2015 in which he played 1 Game for 3 innings at 2B. Has only been OFer only since making the Majors unless you wanna count the 3 inning sample size in 2015.

That's not a competitive return. Tired of people acting like there's no wrong ever with this team.

It's fine to be fan of the team and front office and realize when they sold low/salary dumped.

To be fair, I don't think there are good chances that Kluber lives up to his pay this year. There are a lot of reasons for them to move Kluber. But this move was...at best dubious and at worst a near salary dump for little return.

Honestly I like Clase since even though he isn’t a veteran, he is the arm to go with Karinchak that I wanted on the roster and could become a setup/high leverage pitcher next season. When it comes to DeShields... I don’t think he was a guy we needed. We have defensive guys already on the roster, we needed a bat, but we gotta trust the FO.

I almost feel like we aren’t done making moves. I wonder if we are moving an OF or two for a veteran bat like a Mancini in a sense?

Unless income missing something this feels like they did little more than dump Kluber.

Hopefully Clase pans out.

Guys,

It's ok if people think this is an underwhelming return (I feel that it is as well).

It's also ok to realize this will still be a very good, competitive team without Kluber (which is a fact).

Kluber was worthless last year and our pitching was great so the good news is weve seen what the team is without him and its still solid.

Was just hoping for a bit more but this was the epitome of sell low.
