Morey has behaved like James Cayne during the Bears Sterns collapse and has really hurt his team as a result. You're primary goal in this situation should be fielding as many best offers from as many teams as possible and bidding them against each other. Making reality-detached demands and shutting down negotiations with half the teams who were interested in trading for Ben is basically GM malpractice.Yep Love and a couple 2nds is no where near Morey's inflated Simmons value but that is all I would see the Cavs giving up knowing the toxic environment they would be creating by trading for a headcase like Simmons in the first place.
Having said all of that, the market for Ben is going to be higher than Love and seconds. It's reported that the Pacers offered Brogdon and a first already.
