LeBron James Jr.

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
He's rated 43rd in his high school (junior) class by the college recruiting sites. That would be very borderline for an NBA-caliber player, really I would imagine below the line for a successful NBA player. Only 15 or 20 players per draft class really stick in the NBA, and that includes lots of foreign players. Of course it's early yet, he could hit a growth spurt. But on the other hand he's probably benefited in terms of recruiting notice by being Lebron's kid.

I mean it’s gonna rise next year if he is the focus of an offense. I don’t think he has enough experience being the main guy to be consistent, but he will definitely show more flashes and have bigger games with a bigger role.

He is guaranteed to make the NBA. How good he will be nobody knows of course. Worst case scenario he would be a 2nd round pick that LeBrons team will take. But I bet he will be a 1st rounder.

43rd in the nation as a junior? There's no reason he can't be in the top 10 next year. He's got the rest of his junior year and his senior year to improve.

Kids at this age change so much. Remember Michael Jordan was cut from his high school team at one time.

Look at the trajectory for Emoni Bates.

This is extremely unpredictable stuff.
Yeah and players can really blossom at different times. It doesn’t take until a couple years into the league for some players. So many factors go into it.

Definitely weird because it’s like Bronny has tons of pressure and no pressure at the same time. Very strange situation so his growth is hard to predict. I would say he has surpassed expectation to even be this good. Nobody is gonna expect LeBrons son to also be a star player.

Making the league at all is extremely impressive regardless but I believe the potential is truly there when you look at his all around game and IQ for his age. That should translate very well to college and the league. A lot of flashier players without that foundation tend to fizzle out or it doesn’t translate.

I also think the pressure and the spotlight is making him more nba ready than many prospects who are never exposed to that pressure. A lot of advantages in knowing the inner workings of how to succeed in the league being that close.

43rd out of other juniors. So out of all the players his age.

Is there a collection of these?

"Frame is filling out"

That's a nice way of saying he's not getting any taller.
Whether or not he isn't getting taller, that is never what frame is filling out means. It means he's adding muscle.

I'm aware. But the elephant in the room with this kid is that he's gonna end up pretty small, as far as NBA standards go.

He's been under the microscope since he was like 3 years old, and the forced media narrative continues to be "Here comes another LeBron!". They need to say something positive about him to keep that shit alive, and since his growth seems to have stopped and he's not a top tier talent, they're talking about muscle. As if that means a lot on a 6'2'' frame with narrow shoulders.

Genes are funny. When LaMelo Ball was 15, he was super scrawny and looked like he'd never in a million years have an NBA body. The next thing you know, he's got legit SF size at PG.

For Bronny, it's the other way around.

He looks like what would happen if you took a cross breed between Lebron and a totally normal human being off the street. Which is basically what he is. It was kind of a waste for Lebron to reproduce with his high school sweetheart and not a top female athlete selected in a lab

We were all unfairly denied the ubermensch when he chose not to sire with Serena.
