He's rated 43rd in his high school (junior) class by the college recruiting sites. That would be very borderline for an NBA-caliber player, really I would imagine below the line for a successful NBA player. Only 15 or 20 players per draft class really stick in the NBA, and that includes lots of foreign players. Of course it's early yet, he could hit a growth spurt. But on the other hand he's probably benefited in terms of recruiting notice by being Lebron's kid.
