Let it all out. The Cavaliers Rant Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I'm just way over their failure to show the whole game because they didn't time up their commercial, or interview, or stupid graphic properly. They have the ability to do inset screens and split screens. They should always be able to instantly put the actual game back up if play resumes before they're ready, and have the interruption go to an inset screen until it is finished.

I wanna rant because adding Caris means we have to drop one of our excellent players. Pangos or Goodwin or Someone is going to end up in canton and not be able to fill the role of coming in with a minute and a half left to close ouT!!!
Nope. He replaces Rubio, right?

I hate that the early part of our schedule was so compressed because now I have 2-3 stretches with no Cavs ball and I don't know what to do with my life
I hear ya, looking ahead the Cavs last game pre all-star week is on Tues, Feb 15th, then their next game isn't until Thurs, Feb 24th. That's quite a break.

9 days oh my jeezus 2 days and idk whst yo do with myself lol

That’s great for things like DG’s back…..but I wonder what the effect is on team continuity.

JBB's ineptitude on offense has driven both of our point guards into the ground. It may have ruined the season. Having no consistently competent point guard play or an offensive system to plug and play is a disaster to a team that starts three bigs, which means Mobley's development may take a hit now.

We traded for LeVert to lighten DG's scoring load and make the game easier on DG when he is on the floor. Instead, JBB's use of LeVert in the brief time we had him has been some fucked up sixth man/backup PG while Okoro or Wade take up space in the starting lineup. Now LeVert is hurt. Who knows how many games he will play or if he will even get a chance to play the role he was acquired for. There aren't that many weeks left.

this shit is incredible man, just like my football team after a break somehow end up with more injuries than before the break. The injury gods hate me

The report I saw said LeVert's injury is minor and he is day-to-day. He stepped on an ankle in practice. As for JBB's use of LeVert, he's only played four games so how about cutting JBB some slack?

During the break, before LeVert’s injury, Bickerstaff had been considering the possibility of moving LeVert into the starting lineup. The two also discussed where LeVert -- a 6-foot-6 scorer and playmaker -- best fits in Cleveland’s offense.

“Had some conversations about where he’s comfortable, where he likes the ball, places where he’s had most success in his past,” Bickerstaff said. “I think we have a great understanding of how we can get it done. The next thing becomes actually going out and doing it. That involves the other four guys that are on the floor with him, and understanding how they build that chemistry. Our picture is clear, we just need the experience and the minutes together to make it successful.”

11 missed FTs tonight.

13 offensive rebounds for Detroit.

JBB inexplicably not challenging the horrific foul on Okoro.

We're gonna be lucky to win 1 playoff game, if we even make the final 8 at all. We're soft and mentally weak which is a recipe for disaster in the playoffs.

Eating the challenge is the most frustrating for me. I said it in the game thread, but there were 2 easy challenges:

Detroit threw a ball out of bounds that clearly was touched by nobody. This was when they were extending that lead in the fourth quarter. It 100% was Cavs ball. No challenge. Detroit drills a 3 off the inbound.

The Okoro foul. Again, clear as day, a review would have shown that Okoro made 0 contact. Not incidental. 0.

The close 2nd is the missed free throws. Free throws aren't on coaches in the NBA in my book. These guys are pros and they need to hit them.
