and I'd bet the Miami system serves him better than SAC. Miami picks up Caleb Martin from Charlotte and he's still a pain in the ass over there in South Beach. We'll see if he's kept after 10 days. Still, rather him here than Pangos for a number of reasons. Luckily they signed Goodwin so that might be a moot point.

My rant point is take care of 6-10 in the rotation just as much as 1-5. Ed Davis and the aforementioned Goodwin were quality signings, Cedi when he's not playing point, Dean Wade in a pinch are good. There are some spots this team's management just can't see. Guard is one of them (outside of Rubio, which was probably their GOAT pickup in this regard until it went south). Forward (due to scarcity) is another.

Agreed, work on some quality depth to protect us from the type of situation we find ourselves in now.

Detroit was unfortunately one of our least fun games to watch. After a hot start we seemed destined to let them back in it and never recovered once they did. A disappointing loss, which has been rare for this squad. Feel like we are trusting Rondo too much in the clutch and he did not deliver at all tonight. Bad passes, horrifying shots. Can't expect that much from the guy, just our weaknesses showing through.

Really didn't want to see Cunningham turn a bad game into a ROTY statement. Oh well, still a tight race in the East, so on to the next one.

With the way this team is built, I’m OK with this loss because there was a lot of talk (players and media) about “arriving” after beating the Bucks. We haven’t lost to a team that we should beat until now. Happens to everyone and it was perfect timing for this group. Dust off the defeat, lick you wounds and get back to work knowing that this is the NBA and any team can win on any given night. There are no gimmies! Take care of business!

I hate how fouls isnt shown on the score board at the bottom. Who ever produces the broacasts does a pretty bad job, having league pass I see all the local broadcsts, and we are easily in the bottom half on production.

But I am just glad my bitching is about the broadcast quality and not the team itself. Good job Koby and JBB for that.

I hate how they add the points when a three pointer is made. They’ve got some weird animation that is way too slow. The points finally show up when the other team is crossing mid court.

so I am okay with a little bit of delay on the score update. There are some broadcasts that the points are being updated basically as the viewer sees the basketball go through the hoop. Which is confusing as all hell as by the time you look at the score its already been updated.

But yeah that 3 pointer animation is a little weird. As you said they dont even start the animation until a couple of seconds after the ball goes through the hoop so its 4-6 seconds before its finished, which as you said is after the other team is across midcourt

I’d prefer if they’d change the animation so it’s sort of like the old internet most of you kids don’t remember. Just slowly loads up there so that the top of the three starts going while the shooter is backing up and it hits the bottom of the screen while the other team is finishing their possession IF YOURE LUCKY.

Do it for us old guys.

There is a lot that annoys me with the Bally broadcast.
- The Bally ad that shows up way too long during play and takes up a good amount of the screen... often hiding the ball handler. That drives me insane.
- When they split screen during play to show coaches interview. Do we really need to see them talking? And the interviews are as basic as they can get. Useless.
- The in game ads for Kia (with the used-to-be-hot-but-now-kinda-creepy girl) and Wayside furniture - again, taking up most of the screen during play
- The way too long close ups of players after a made basket while the other team is pushing the pace.
- The same ten commercials over and over - I watch every game on one hour delay now.

Yes! They flash "3-pointer" across and then it slowly adds the 3, but the 2 gets added very quickly. They should just flash a +1/2/3 for each score so it's a consistent rhythm.

Yeah. I really don't need to hear (and see) an assistant coach say that the Cavs have to play better defense in the 2nd half. Duh.

Serena probably has a clause on her contract that guarantees her a certain amount of screen time, though.

I wanna rant because adding Caris means we have to drop one of our excellent players. Pangos or Goodwin or Someone is going to end up in canton and not be able to fill the role of coming in with a minute and a half left to close ouT!!!
