That is obviously my huge plot hole lol. I just dont like how confident Strange is now acting like a little bitch because some bad guys are loose in NY.

That would make the most sense; im just curious how they make him a full on villain. Unless Venom's hatred overpowers Eddie.

Yeah, something is definitely going on with Strange. He’s trying to get Parker to kill people.

Im all about Little Franco lol.

Oh a different note, anyone else think that Dr Strange could be Chameleon? We are still a villain short from Sinister 6 & Dr Strange is still acting a little weird/helpless. Definitely overreaching here; I just find it odd that 5 bad guys are here....and not 6.

Would be a nice time for Scorpion to break out of prison since he wanted to know who Spiderman was in part 1 and the cat is now out of the bag.
Dr. Strange is Agatha.

Conspiracy theory: what if Mysterio is still alive and behind it all and there is no multiverse, at least not in this movie. What if, like in WandaVision, the casting of previously used actors from defunct franchises is just a bait and switch and they aren’t actually those old characters, but new ones who happen to be played by the same actors like Jamison?

I don't think pulling the same shtick twice is really a Marvel thing. Small nods to past events, sure. But to really attempt the exact same bait and switches used in the last movie, and a series?

The multiverse is very real, and it makes me wonder if the Strange we're seeing isn't actually our Strange, but a variant. Our Strange is clearly trapped in the multiverse fighting with Wanda.

For the record, I’m not saying that Marvel should do this. I think it would be a terrible idea. Not only would it piss off the fans, but it would also devalue some of Spider-Man’s greatest enemies by making them just some guys Mysterio recruited. I was just tossing it out there.

Something definitely seems off about Strange, though. I can’t imagine the real Strange asking a teenage Peter Parker to murder people, even if they are bad guys.

Any chance Strange is turning into a villain?

Any chance Strange is turning into a villain?

There hasn’t been any foreshadowing to that effect and I assume he’s supposed to be taking the Iron Man role as leader of the Avengers with Stark dead and Captain America retired.

He’s also fresh off of helping Stark save half the universe, which would be a strange (heh) time for a heel turn.

I am gonna have to watch venom 2 before no way home? Because the first venom was bad enough.

Consider the What If?? episodes.... Two versions of Dr. Strange including a 'dark' version.
And the various Loki versions in the Loki series

Another version of Strange or Loki could take the character Spidey is dealing with in directions most of us would scoff at..

I thought that the other Goblin might be Harry Osborn.
Freeze frames seem to show its Defoe in the newer, repaired version of his GG suit that was leaked a couple months ago. But with a purple hood and cloak.

Do a freeze frame. The dead give away are his crazy Defoe cheekbones, the goggles and the satchel.

You don’t. Venom is not going to be in No Way Home, I can confidently say that.

Venom 2 is only noteworthy because of the 2-minute post credits scene that teases a future project, which you can probably find on YouTube.

I think it's someone mascarading as him. He acts, well, immature in the trailer? Like a teenager? Not sure who it could be but that's my take.
