First two episodes of Hawkeye were fun.

"Bro, I found her." :chuckle:

But seriously, maybe don't cast the most evil looking dude in the world to be Kate Bishop's step-dad. The second Lalo Salamanca shows up (looking like Paul F. Thompkins for some reason), it's like, yup, there's the bad guy. It doesn't help that he acts like he's about to twirl his mustache and reveal his evil plot via monologue in every scene.

Didn't even realize it had been released yet. Because I don't do social media anymore *other than RCF* I had no clue. Life is grand without it.

Question. Anyone of you as deep in as to have the Marvel Unlimited online comic account?

I pretty much have given in and really enjoy the MCU. But my knowledge is almost all film and show based, very little if any Comic Canon. I'm way to sloppy and starting way too late to collect any of the actual comics, but have found myself interested in knowing the fuller stories of so many of these characters and a ton I hear talked about that haven't shown up in the movies yet.

Is the Marvel Unlimited access worth it or is it just complete time consuming overkill that doesn't translate as well digitally as it would with a physical comic in my hand?

First off, the movies/shows in the MCU are entirely their own thing. The comics are a separate thing. The movies and shows are often inspired by stories from the comic books, but the MCU is stand-alone.

Second, just go here:

Totally get that. Read enough on here and Reddit to see all the gripes about story changes, consistency with the comics, and how many different runs and eras there are for each character and team.
Second, just go here:
Will check that out. Thanks

When I first saw him it took me about 20 seconds to think who he was. As soon as it clicked "oh, that's the bad guy then" haha

It’s like hiring Ed Harris. You hire Ed Harris, the second he comes into the frame we know who the bad guy is.

Still trying to figure out why they made the guy look exactly like Paul F. Thompkins though.

Loving Hawkeye so far, but Kate Bishop’s fight scenes either need to get far better or keep them few and far between.

She was distractingly unathletic (which I’m sure was written about me in many scouting reports back in the day)

It looks as if the Marvel/Sony partnership is going to continue:

Amy Pascal: This is not the last movie that we are going to make with Marvel – [this is not] the last Spider-Man movie. We are getting ready to make the next Spider-Man movie with Tom Holland and Marvel, it just isn't part of… we're thinking of this as three films, and now we're going to go onto the next three. This is not the last of our MCU movies.

2 multibillion dollar corporations agree to continue projects that gross billions of dollars.

I’m shocked

Here's what Im thinking:

The first three(including No Way Home) are Marvel centric + his appearances in Civil War and IW/EG

I think the next three will be Sony centric(Venom, Symbiote, Miles Morales, etc) but then include some Marvel property crossovers into those plots as well as Spidey still showing up in a few major non Spiderman Marvel titles, like he did in CW, IW, and EG

Sounds like we'll definitely be getting Kingpin in the Hawkeye series. He's almost certainly the "Uncle" mentioned by the Tracksuit guy who knows sign language, and Fat Man Motors seems like a dead giveaway as well.
