Minor League Week 18 Games Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Relieved by none other than Joey Cantillo in his first action of 2021.
Might as well bring him in... ease him back to tougher competition (compared to players in the ACL).
Additionally Civale is starting in Akron on Weds so the RDucks so they have an extra arm to use (even with sending Juan Hillman to AAA)..

Tuesday night game updates/ finals:

AAA Columbus rained out. Game will be part of a doubleheader on Saturday 9/4/21..
AA Akron wins 11-2

High A Lake County leads 3-2 in the bottom of the 7th
Low A Lynchburg trails 5-3 in the top of the 8th

@BimboColesHair you getting a chance to see this guy tonight/any time soon?

Been in Akron the last few weeks.

Tough travel/routine appearance for him. Squeezed a bit and overthrew with the adrenaline so his change wasn’t effective and he spiked quite a few.

I gunned him at T95, sat 91-93. His slider is flashing more this year and is a plus pitch now, comes with the shortened arm movement.

So now when he is a right he is 91-93 up to 95 from the left side with plus control, a plus plus change, and a plus slider. Not many lefties in the game with a change like his. Carry on his fastball has improved a lot too, big reason he was K’ing everyone and anyone at the alt site. That upwards illusion of his fastball followed by a change that dips is a tough combo to handle as a hitter.

Allen tossing to Roberto Perez last night looked like a thing of beauty.

That entire Akron rotation might have a big league future somewhere.

Akron is fucking sick. That's a team you wanna watch in person.

Brennan 2-4, 2 rbi
Rocchio 3-4, 1 rbi
Valera 1-2, 2 rbi, 1 bb

Then you have Naylor 2-4, HR rbi

Indians are in good shape. Please extend Jose, Franimal and Bieber. These kids are coming equipped. Valera is ahead of his time.

When did Kwan get a AAA call up?

Also where is the love in here for Halpin? He's been looking solid after a shaky start...
