Minor League Week 18 Games Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I've been to 2 Rubber ducks game, One back in June and the game this week on Tuesday. It was great to see Logan T Allen, Cantillo, Valera, Rocchia, and Roberto's rehab game. Very funny to see almost entirely new team in 2 month timeframe. Both were great games to see, but seeing the Valera bomb was great. As well as my daughter having too much fun with the duck bubble guns.

Kwan and Oscar continue to scorch and Morris dominated.

Early game for those who are interested Columbus up 6-0 in the 7th.

Morris 5IP 1H 0ER 1BB 7K

Ogonz with a 3 run bomb - Kwan is 3-4 with a double and 3RBI

Little mentioned Andruw Monasterio is also having a helluva year.

Monasterio has never had a season like he is having this year before. He is another guy who can walk if we don't add him to the 40 man roster...

Kwan WILL be rostered... Is there anyone hotter in our system?? Just cranked a 2 run homer...
4-5 2R 5RBI - a triple short of the cycle.

So how many players are we putting on our 40 man roster?

Edit: nvm answer in the minor league thread..

Tena and Noel go back to back in the 1st - Captains up early 2-0

Edit... Aaron Davenport is the starter for Lynchburg tonight!!

What was the Alan Greenspan phrase? Irrational exuberance. It’s normal to be excited about our prospects’ success at each level of the minors. But the odds of multiple prospects emerging into everyday players is long, unfortunately. We can all hope for the best but also prepare for the harsh reality that only a very, very few prospects will ultimately succeed.

I get what you are saying, but this is the 1st time in the last 10+ years where I remember this many well playing position players. Many of them in or finishing up this year in AA and above.

Rocchio just added a 1 run double to his tally tonight

Edit - Noel - hits his 2nd homer of the night... Geeeez Louise!

Another strong outing from Xzavion Curry 5.2IP 4H 0R/ER 1BB 7K - 82 pitches 54 strikes.

Battenfield delivered for Akron as well - 6IP 4H 0R/ER 1BB 6K

Davenport in his first A ball start - 3IP 2H 0R/ER 1BB 6K

My blinders are on and the kool-aid tastes great!

If the koolaid keeps looking and tasting like it does, don't stop the making!
