Final Friday Game updates:

AAA Columbus loses 9-2.

CLE affiliates go 2-1 on the night.
For the week they are now 7-6 and have a run diff of +3

FYI: Scott Moss left the game early due to injury (per the radio broadcast) 42 pitches/ 28 strikes.
If I can locate any word on the injury, I will be sure to share it.

Several Duck players having unbelievable seasons. Oscar G just smashing the ball as are Alex Call. Palacio and T. Freeman. If Palaacio is looked at as an outfielder now, that's 3 guys out their making a lot of noise.

Palacios has played 15 games at 2B and 10 in the OF this year. If he’s gonna be an outfielder I think he should play there.

Interesting that Logan Allen the elder resurfaces. That's a good sign. Thoughts?

There's just no way that between Logan Allen Senior, TMac, Quantrill, Mejia, and Hentges that we can't piece together a solid 4 and 5 for the next several years. Love to hear your alls bets as to who those 4/5 are and what happens to the other guys.

For me, I think it's TMac and Quantrill though Mejia is curious.

That Akron lineup is looking crowded and that doesn't include the recently promotion of Brooks and an injured Steven Kwan

Sure there are some inventory types in the line up for game 1 today, but Call or even OGonz probably deserve a shot in AAA. Not to mention Palacios and Freeman doing their thing... Oh and Benson produces despite poor contact and Ks. Don't see how anyone fits though.. End of the road for Marabell maybe? Maybe we trade Mercado?

See how things look in a month... We clearly have some trade bait.

Akron loses 3-2 in gm 2 of the doubleheader.. Altoona is leading the series 3-2 going into the Sunday finale..

AAA Columbus is underway & is leading 4-1 in the top of the 2nd at Iowa.
Logan S Allen is back on the hill tonight and he had struggles in the 1st (29 pitches, 12 strikes). 1 hit, 3 walks, 1 K in the 1st inning.

High A Lake County is trailing 7-1 in the bottom of the 6th at Ft Wayne.

Low A Lynchburg is trailing 6-2 in the top of the 6th of gm 2 of the doubleheader..

Columbus scores 5 in the 2nd to lead 5-1.

The Columbus lineup posting of Luplow as the CF seems to be incorrect. The game day box score does not have Luplow in the lineup (is on the bench) & Marabell- Mercado- Daniel Johnson is the OF placement... Marabell went yard for a 3 run shot in the 2nd...

Columbus is leading 6-1 in the top of the 4th at Iowa..

Logan S Allen line: 2 hits, 3 walks, 2 ks, 1 run (earned) 49 pitches/ 26 strikes over 2 IP... (sorry the gameday box score originally credited the 3rd inning to Logan when Kyle Dowdy actually pitched it)..
