Guys please take this out of the game thread.... @Out of the Rafters at the Q @Gson let's just move it elsewhere before @MadThinker88 blows his top (I am saying this lightheartedly lol) cause we are ruining his game thread which he rightly has the right to since he puts a lot of work into it.

You've been here since May 15th, Luplow hasn't played since May 26th. Not only aren't posters here 'propping up' guys like Luplow, they haven't really even been talking about him. In fact, some of us have been saying this is his final year to put it together or we have to move on.

So how would you have this vast amount of knowledge about how people post about Luplow? That's right, you can't help but give out the fact you have been stalking this forum for well over a year.

As I informed you all last week, this is a personal attack unsubstantiated by any evidence. So I'm reporting it. I have posted on this forum only since May 15 because that's only when I found it. As I have stated, I posted under the old Scout/247 boards under the same name--that's where I recognize guys like Geronimo, CATS, and many others. I found this site on May 14 via this exact post:

No one has stalked this forum. The posts by many on here must be predictable. I don't even understand what you're arguing. That no one is supporting Luplow, but that somehow by me "stalking" this forum, I must have seen past posts when you all were supporting Luplow?

That makes no logical sense on any level.

I've explained more than should be required. The moderator who popped in here last week similarly said that there is no reason from what he can see via IP that would suggest that I'm anyone other than I'm saying. This is beyond pathetic.

You haven't been perfect either, since you add things to your posts/you respond with comments that take people's comments way different than they actually said.

That being said...Everyone please, let's clean the slate and move on... This needs to be a place to talk baseball not compared who's dick shape is better

Dicky is who he says he is for anyone who questions that - he was a member over at IBI.

Oscar can smash the ball. He has done so at every level so far. Yet people will tell you he's not a top prospect. Nolan Jones, who strikes out every 2.5 times to the plate and is hitting .215 is all the rage.

Alex Call is a speed demon with an excellent glove that is also worth looking at, also hitting well above three hundred. And then there is Richard Palacios who also has produced everywhere he has been. I agree that housecleaning needs to be done on players like Mirabell and Krieger.

Don’t give a rats ass where you come from, what forum you came over from, whatever.

Low effort posts like the one above that started this shit is what needs to go away. If you expect to say something like “Yet people will tell you he's not a top prospect. Nolan Jones, who strikes out every 2.5 times to the plate and is hitting .215 is all the rage.” and be met with nothing or agreement, be prepared for the conversation to go the direction it just went.

Again, if Gonzalez is so good, Call is so good, Palacios is so good, keep the post about them and just them. That should be easy to do if they’re good, you should have lots of content to fill your post with to start a discussion about them. You don’t need to throw other players and posters who like those players under the bus to have a discussion.

This is a forum that prides itself on high quality posting (at least it did when I first joined) and has been delving into something else the last few years that is driving a lot of quality posters away, myself included at one point.

It is possible to have disagreements and discussions about those disagreements without making it personal with fellow posters. Seems like I have a few of those weekly with our new crop of posters that have breathed some new life into this forum, which has been awesome.

But it’s not hard to see why posts like the above one lead to pissed off, making it personal discussions.

Quality > quantity. I don’t expect people to write essays and ridiculous in depth shit, but holy shit is it easy to post without calling other posters out. This happens daily though.

If you want good, quality discussion you need good, quality posts. We don’t have enough consistently good posts for that to happen and we do something like this every week. Be better.

I’m getting off my high horse. Everyone enjoy their Sunday, let’s get a win today.

Vent away in my book, what little bit that book may matter. But let's move it back on track.

Torres had a rough start yesterday. Wolf is going today. What's your thoughts on the performance/progression of each this year? Is this year purely for Torres to show he can stay healthy coming back from surgery, or is more expected? As for Wolf, how do you view his early numbers as a pro? Consistent with the draft status and age? A tick better? A tick worse?

I'm not the one making things personal, you are. Just because you have so called "connections" to the organization, doesn't mean your opinions are any better than others.

If you want to discount the performances of Call, Gonzalez and Palacios and then have at it.

Your boy Nolan Jones strikes out 40% of the time. Oscar Gonzalez strikes out 20% of the time this season. So if you and yours want to continue the charade that Jones is the better prospect, knock yourself out.

If everyone in the tribe minor leagues had such a hole in his swing like Oscar Gonzalez, and carry an OPS of 977, then the Indians would have the best farm system in all of baseball.

You so called "experts" get things wrong all the time. Experts like you told the world that Jose Ramirez' ceiling was a decent utility guy.

Top prospects such as Zimmer, Frazier, Lindor and now Jones never put up the minor league numbers that Gonzalez has so far.

All I heard back 5 years ago was Zimmer this, Frazier that. Neither of them put up numbers that warranted top level prospect status. To date Zimmer's career average is 226 and Frazier is 241. What a shocker.

The bottom line is that if you stink in the minors. you're probably gonna stink in the majors.

If you don't like the opinions I express. or that I don't kiss your ass enough like other posters here do, then use your ignore feature.

This thread has become a shitstorm in such a short period of time that I am going to lock it until I have a chance to unwind it and see exactly how it went off the rails, and exactly who is to blame.

On vacation with family - I'll address this whole shitstorm in the moderator thread tomorrow.
